I had these cookies before and loved them! I have a friend who recently had to go dairy free for her breast feeding baby and I immediately thought of these cookies for her bday. This was my first time ordering the cookies and Jill was really accommodating in helping me order. Overall great experience!

We ordered a vanilla birthday cake, some brownies and cookies and we can’t say enough about them! So delicious, all three! Ordering was easy and delivery was fast! Exceptional all the way around!

Jill made an amazing wedding cake for us. Vanilla cake, raspberry filling, and white chocolate frosting, with whole raspberries on top. It had a simple elegance that was perfect for our wedding. While it looked beautiful the flavors were even better.

My gluten free dtr is getting married and wanted a burnt almond torte cake. We found the best and only bakery that would accommodate her wishes.I have had so many gluten free people say that the taste of the forgotten flour product is the most satisfying flavor they have been missing.

5 stars all day for Forgotten Flour! Jill was awesome to work with and made incredible dairy-free peanut butter cookies. Honestly, they’re so good they could be packaged up and sold across the world. If you need gluten-free treats that don’t taste “gluten-free,” this is the spot.

The Forgotten Flour is my families favorite gluten free bakery in Pittsburgh. The oatmeal cream pies are a favorite, as well as the cookie cake. This time we added the burnt almond cupcakes, which we have not been able to find in a decade and they certainly hit the spot. Definitely will be returning for our special occasions.

I ordered the assorted GF cupcakes with all 4 combinations of white cake, chocolate cake, vanilla icing, and chocolate icing for my birthday. This was perfect for the family. The cake was super soft, great flavor, and oh my goodness is the icing something to write home about. The chocolate had an amazing cocoa flavor and the vanilla was so smooth, creamy and the right amount of sweetness. I will absolutely be ordering cupcakes again and cant wait to try her other goodies, especially things with icing, YUM!

I ordered cupcakes with only one day's notice (I didn't realize the lead time required!), but she was kind enough to process anyway. They were delicious!

I ordered cupcakes for my mom’s birthday, and she had not had good quality cake since her celiac diagnosis over 20 years ago. Our whole family was in shock tasting the cupcakes, because you genuinely wouldn’t know they were gluten free on taste/texture alone. The cake was moist, and had the PERFECT texture - not the grittiness you get with most gluten free desserts. Jill is phenomenal!! Always friendly and helpful, and her pastries are always delicious. I’ve tried her cookies at a few different coffee shops now and they’re always amazing, so I can’t wait to try more of her treats in the future! So so grateful to have her in the gluten-free community!!

Jill created a custom cake for my sister's 30th birthday that was Friends themed - it was loved by everyone, celiacs and non-celiacs alike! We will be coming back every year to order a cake for her. Fantastic business!

We ordered banana muffins, iced cookies, red velvet and burnt almond torte cupcakes. Everything was delicious- no weird aftertaste, wasn’t dry or crumbly. It was all delicious. And Jill was so kind to work with, patient and friendly. I highly recommend.

We ordered the cheesecake bites and assorted cookies as an option for our gluten free friends at our wedding and they were absolutely delicious! Our guests (gf AND non-gf) kept coming over and telling us how great the desserts were. My dad even grabbed one of the cheesecake bites without realizing it was gluten free and he was shocked to hear that it was!

I got a cake for my friend who has a gluten intolerance’s bday and it was a huge hit! It was beautiful and the entire cake was eaten in minutes! No one would’ve even known it was gluten free if we didn’t tell them! Would absolutely order from forgotten flour again!

i developed a wheat allergy as part of chronic lyme disease and went 3 birthdays without actual cake. decided to give Forgotten Flour a try for my birthday since they’re local and was delighted by the textures and flavors. everyone at my party enjoyed them, having multiple pieces and taking some home. everyone was shocked it was GF given how it wasn’t dry and dense, but moist and springy. the buttercream is delicious but needs 2-3 hours out of the fridge to reach maximum creamy goodness.

I ordered gluten-free cookies from here for a sports banquet, and the whole experience was great. Ordering was simple, and everything was ready right on time, which made the day so much easier. I didn’t personally try the cookies, but several people at the event had ordered from here before and were excited to see them, and they all said they were delicious. It was really nice to be able to offer a gluten-free option that people were genuinely happy about. I’d definitely order from here again!

Jill was so nice to deal with and she accommodated my families multiple food allergies! I bought the lavender Earl gray cake for Easter and the chocolate cake for my birthday!!! Both were absolutely delicious and beautiful!! Highly recommend!!!

We pre ordered a spring basket for us to pick up while driving through town. In addition to being beautiful, we loved the variety of all the treats which were delicious! If I lived nearby I’d be a regular although I wish there was always a “mystery pack” kind of offering like that spring treat basket. Sadly we had to leave the cute basket in our hotel room as we didn’t have room in our luggage so having the option of having a mystery pack in a simple container would have been a perfect future offering. If our child ends up at college in Pittsburgh you will have a regular customer for sure (and whenever we visit).

Ordered the peanut butter cookies for a friend who was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and they were blown away by how good the cookies were. I thought they were just as delicious, if not better than a lot of regular cookies. The owner was incredibly kind and personally delivered the order to my home when I got stuck at work and couldn't make it to their store during pickup hours. I cannot emphasize how amazing the communication/service is. Can't wait to try something new from here soon :)

I could not pick my favorite item from the wonderful Spring Goodie Basket as every item was amazing. I loved the carrot cake cupcakes, the cookie assortment (especially the lavender cookies)and the chocolate covered pretzels! I put the dessert basket out for Easter and didn’t say they were gluten free and no one noticed a difference!!! I am celiac and not once have I had any unfavorable reaction. That is a win in my book💕

We ordered the oatmeal raisin cookies, and found them to be quite enjoyable and tasty. Ordering online was also really easy, and the staff was incredibly nice and easy to contact.

I purchased the Garden Sampler to have when we hosted Easter. This basket was PERFECT! Not only was it decorated for the holiday but it had so many different options to choose from. BEST carrot cake cupcake and cream cheese icing I’ve ever had. As someone with celiac who also enjoys baking, I appreciate all that Jill offers!

I have had cookies, cupcakes, chocolate, and cake from The Forgotten Flour. I have been out of the United States and had gluten-free items and nothing has tasted the same as before I became gluten-free except these. Trust me, I know the difference!!! These desserts are WOW,you can’t tell the difference. I have Celiac and I recommend them to those who are just looking for some delicious pastries even if you’re not GF. Presentation is excellent and first impressions are lasting. I can order something new every month instead of getting something out of a grocery store that’s cookie cutter. Jill makes goodies that are definitely homemade with style. Take it for me, once you try them you won’t buy anything else from any other store that says they have gluten-free pastries. I won’t name the grocery stores in the USA, but all of them that have gluten-free items listen up. You got some first class competition and your GF pastry aisle is going to get very slim. I will close by saying this. Not only are the pastries good, and presentation is excellent, the store is welcoming and warm. The owner radiates customer service that’s impeccable. That’s something rare today. Maybe that makes the pastries taste even better. Speak to my gurl Jill, she’s amazing and really cares about your needs and nutrition💙 She makes to die for red velvet cupcakes and cookies, and I could go on and on, everything‘s outstanding!!!

We were visiting the Pittsburgh area and were looking for someone to make a gluten free cake for my daughter’s birthday while we were there. I found this cute bakery online- it had great reviews and they did not disappoint. My daughter has a unique style and the cake was perfect. Pick up was a breeze - Jill was so nice, when we’re left we felt we had made as new friend. She even gave us tips for restaurants that are gluten friendly. Can’t recommend her enough!

We ordered a small, beautifully decorated cake for my wedding celebration from Forgotten Flour that was so amazingly good that all the "regular" people there said it was the best cake they had ever eaten. So we ordered cupcakes for a birthday celebration this week and again - rave reviews! The cake is so delicate and moist, not too heavy or too crumbly like many GF cakes. The icing is so delicious - light, airy and not too sweet. These treats are baked with such love and care. I can't wait to try the cookies next!!

We ordered a dozen of assorted gluten-free cookies and picked them up on Friday, February 20 and I must tell you they are magnificent beyond compare. I'm so happy that my daughters found this bakery and I've got to say the owner Jill, has a long successful career ahead of her. Absolutely magnificent whether you're celiac or not they are some of the best cookies I've ever had. It's hard to find a dedicated gluten-free bakery when you're celiac as you're always worried about cross-contamination, but this place is unbelievable! Thank you so much!!!!

We ordered two cakes for our daughter's birthday, a white cake and a cookie cake. Both were delicious and decorated beautifully. It was wonderful to be able to have the cakes the birthday girl requested, safe for the celiacs in our family!

We asked Forgotten Flour to make a gluten free, dye free cake for my adult daughter's birthday who is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. My daughter said, and we all agreed, meaning about 20 family members, it was the best gluten free cake and actually literally at the top of the list of "bought" cakes. The buttercream icing was perfect composition, taste and beautifully decorated the cake. We all are bakers and agree that Forgotten Flour's cake was absolutely delicious! Thank you Forgotten Flour!

I am no longer embarrassed to admit I am a coffee and bourbon snob--and I appreciate the artistry and provenance of both. But when it comes to baked goods, I am even more critical since I am gluten-intolerant and keep pastries/cookies to an absolute minimum in my diet. So when I have them, they have to be exceptional because, for me, they are a true luxury. And that's why I intend to be a regular customer at The Forgotten Flour in Bloomfield. Jill's peanut butter cookies are simply sublime--and I plan to work my way through the rest of her offerings in short order. She knows how to make gluten-free taste seriously yummy. And if you aren't gluten-free, you should try these baked goods anyway to understand that when gluten-free products are made by an artisan baker like Jill, what you simply get is awesomeness.

Jill is wonderful! She was able to deliver to our event venue and help set up the food trays. She provided a variety of savory and sweet bites to accommodate all appetites for a large event. While all of the products are gluten free, they appealed to everyone- no one missed the gluten!

I LOVE the forgotten flour! We found her cookies at a cafe we frequent so when it was time for our wedding (and cookie table) we knew we had to get some. We were able to have baked goods all individually wrapped and I was thrilled that there was an option for gluten/dairy/and nut free (EVERYONE deserves a cookie). I’ve had a variety of gluten-free and dairy free products and you can taste the difference between them and regular pastries. The cookies that I purchased didn’t have that grainy,gritty taste that you often find in GF products. Man, you couldn’t tell the difference. Not only were they scrumptious and delicious they were a party hit. I highly recommend The Forgotten Flour pastries for every type of event and I’ll be there often. Sweet tooth just got even better. If you have events, make sure you include these pastries won’t go wrong and you serve everybody’s dietary needs. They have the secret sauce to the GF pastry puzzle.

This was our 2nd order from Jill. We had the brown butter expresso cookies and they were perfectly complimented by the sprinkle of salt on top. Of course the coffee cheesecake mini cupcakes were to die for and the muffins were moist and delicious.

I ordered the Christmas variety platter. First, it was very carefully and festively packaged. I had mine delivered and communication by the driver Mike was great. He gave me an initial eta, then updated throughout the day. As for the cookies -- awesome! I got them for my niece who is extremely gluten insensitive. She said they were absolutely delicious and very flavorful. Bottom line, Jill has a great thing going here and I'm glad I found her and The Forgotten Flour. The cookies are worth every.single.penny. I haven't tried her other creations (which look amazing), but it's only been 24 hours since we got the cookies, lol. Highly recommend!

I got the Gather & Graze Sampler Box for Thanksgiving, and it was gorgeous, delicious, and perfect! I will 100% be ordering from The Forgotten Flour again in the future, and I am recommending this bakery to all friends and family. Each item in the box was exquisitely flavored, and the seasonal decoration items were remarked upon by all our guests for their incredible cuteness. The Pecan Maple Bars and the Pumpkin Rolls were considered absolutely exceptional by all, and everything also was also remarked upon as being of the highest quality and best flavors!!

The two holiday dessert boxes I ordered were beautifully decorated and included a great assortment of cookies, cheesecake bites and pumpkin roll slices. The owner was kind and easy to work with. My family and I are not even gluten free but adore forgotten flour. We were introduced to the baked goods by having them at our local coffee shop. We started having the treats- and my two year old just adores them that when we were planning Thanksgiving he insisted on “oatmeal sandwiches” the oatmeal cream pies. And although we are not gluten free family- we ordered so many for Thanksgiving and I’m looking forward to serving to my guests. They are so good!

The blueberry muffins are delicious! They are moist, light, fluffy and bursting with flavor in every bite. One of the best gluten free muffins I have eaten. Thank you for making a wonderful product!

The cake was super cute and spooky, exactly what I asked for as I am born on Halloween. The cake was moist, buttercream was smooth, and decorations were lovely! I also got a bonus gob and bar to try and they were delicious as well. We will be back!

I needed to accommodate multiple allergies for an event - and Forgotten Flour was on it! The cupcakes were delicious and beautiful, and the owner was communicative. I would definitely recommend them for other events!

We ordered and loved the chocolate chip cookie cake. It was a hit, and the perfect size for our party of eight. We are also fans of espresso and tried the espresso cheesecake cups, and they did not disappoint. The best ever. We will be ordering again! It’s so great that our whole family has all of these incredible and delicious gluten-free options.

A while back I discovered a little gem while I was scrolling through social media for gluten-free baked goods. I decided to take a chance and order one thing to try. That order turned into another with two things to try, and then the next order turned into more! I now order anytime I need bakery treats for an event or when I want a sweet treat. I have never been disappointed in anything I received! I have served these gluten-free baked goods to countless people, not letting them know they were gluten-free! And of course, they got rave reviews. Jill was also very accommodating when I ordered while I was going through chemo. Making arrangements to meet my daughter to deliver my orders for me when I could not get out! I highly recommend any of their treats! Not only are you supporting local small business, but you’re supporting a woman owned local small business!

I ordered a dozen chocolate cupcakes, and they were as tasty as they were pretty!! The frosting has a really good balance of sweetness and creaminess, and the cake wasn’t dry at all, which is an especially big accomplishment with gluten free baking. These were also really affordable compared to other gluten free cupcakes in the area, but they don’t taste like a budget option!

Everything Jill touches is incredible. All of my non-GF friends and family agree, these are the best baked goods around!

It’s not everyday that you find Gluten free treats that are actually delicious - like wait in line good but these are it. AND to top it off Jill is an awesome human that’s so deserving of being seen and honored for the heart she puts into her food and spreads everywhere she goes. She’s also willing to ship which is HUGE for a girly that’s not local to Pittsburgh.

I ordered a carrot cake and the toffee cookies for a birthday party and I was so thrilled with how delicious both were. Many people commented that they didn't believe that it was GF (but it was!) Just FYI, there is an extra charge to use your credit card and I wish I had known that, as I would have paid cash.

Everything is so delicious here!! So many desserts I haven’t been able to have for years, I’m finally able to have and they taste delicious. Tried the cookie cake for my birthday this year and it was phenomenal! I highly recommend The Forgotten Flour!

We found out about The Forgotten Flour weeks before it opened and got a pre-order of vanilla cupcakes, peanut butter cheesecake bites and tasty cookies. All of these were amazing and delicious. We got a repeat order of the vanilla cupcakes just the other day, and who knows what we'll get the next time? We don't go vegan or gluten-free unless what we're eating just happens to fit one of those categories, but these treats are delicious with no 'buts' or other exceptions. The textures are perfect, everything is tasty and the proprietor is nothing less than a super woman! I don't know how she does it! Five stars, four thumbs up and ten golden flour sifters to The Forgotten Flour!!

As a Celiac, I've scoped out MANY gluten free treats, and the Forgotten Flour has some of the best. I particularly love their chocolate chip cookies. The Valentine's and Easter's baskets were amazing - it was wonderful to be able to try so many gluten free goodies at once :)

The cookies and Easter basket I ordered from forgotten flour were even better than expected! The lavender cookies are so soft and delicious. My daughter and husband both have celiac, so our household has been gluten free for at least 12 years now. It was our first time ordering. The Easter basket was amazing with so many delicious treats and a great variety. We also ordered classic chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. They are fantastic! I can't wait to order treats again.

It can be difficult to find gluten free desserts, especially ones that taste great.. the espresso cheesecake bites are amazing and perfect. They make you wonder if they are actually gluten free. I really look forward to trying more of their products! Jen was super nice and made the order and pick up super simple.
