The Duke’s Pastries

Our cakes are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department. They are produced under the Cottage Food Law and are not subject to state licensing or inspection.

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your cake date and order. Deposit can given by Cashapp(2.75% fee will be applied), Zelle, Cash or Square link for credit card.(3% fee will be applied for credit/debit cards.). All orders must be paid in full before pickup/delivery. Due to being a small shop, we can only take so many orders per weekend so please place orders 4-5 days before your event.

Keep in mind every order is hand-made. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to the artistic interpretation as a cake decorator. You may provide us with a picture for inspiration however, we make no claims for exact duplication of the work done by other cake decorators. No custom order will be “EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE”. Thank you for your understanding.

By checking “I agree” while submitting order request you are agreeing you have read all policies and disclaimers. Once an order is confirmed by us, we will send invoice where you can feel free to review . If invoice is correct, we can proceed to payment transaction. A confirmed order is when payment transaction has been made and your order has been booked. NO DEPOSIT , NO CONFIRMED ORDER!

Please be aware that while your order may not be made with nuts or a nut product, it will have been prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used in other cakes and fillings. We cannot guarantee that your product(s) will be free from all nut traces. All products may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, natural dyes, artificial dyes, artificial flavorings, sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial color, and other allergens not listed. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of this allergy information. The Duke’s Pastries will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from the consumption of any products.

To ensure every cake and treat is fresh and perfect, please arrive at your scheduled pickup time. If you cannot make your scheduled time, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. Orders may only be held for a short window, as each creation is carefully prepared for your chosen time. Thank you for understanding and helping keep everything running smoothly!

If you choose to pick up your cake and transport it yourself, we are NOT liable OR responsible for the cake once it has left my hands.. YOU should prepare YOUR vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the cake. We do everything in our power to provide a well-structured cake, but please note that cakes are very fragile and break easily, drive carefully and slowly. Once the cake leaves in YOUR possession , we are NOT responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter.

We also offer deliveries ,scheduled time can be set up while placing and confirming order. We properly deliver a well structured cake in its box and can help set up at location. A delivery fee is applied depending on distance. Address must be provided in order for us to determine delivery fee. Delivery fee can range from $15-$75.

We all know this TEXAS weather is crazy! Heat and humidity can adversely affect our product(s). In hotter months, it is advised that our product(s) be kept in an air-conditioned area or, at the very least, a cool area. It is strongly suggested that the product(s) being collected by the customer are transported in an air-conditioned vehicle. The Duke’s Pastries is in NO way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions.

REFRIGERATE PERISHABLE CAKES • Do not leave out more than 2 hours! KEEP DECORATED CAKES SAFE • Avoid sunlight, heat, or humidity, decorations can melt or slide. TRANSPORT SAFELY • Always place your cake on a flat, stable surface while traveling. • Do not hold on your lap or tilt it! Bumps or sudden movements can damage your cake. HANDLE WITH CARE • Move your cake gently. Avoid dropping, bumping, or shaking.
