First, can we talk about the girth on this chocolate chip cookie?! These boys are hefty. No shortage of chips anywhere, every bite delivers. The bottom has this beautiful, buttery crust with just enough structure that it doesn’t fall apart, but it also doesn’t fight back. The texture is perfect: chewy without being cakey. And that light dusting of salt on top? Chef’s kiss. It pulls everything together into a cookie you will absolutely consider hiding from your family. For my cookie connoisseurs: how does this compare to a Levain cookie? Honestly… not by much; and that’s a compliment of the highest order. You still get that signature thick, bakery-style heft, the golden buttery bottom, and a soft, chewy center packed with chips. But where some Levain cookies can lean a touch doughy in the middle, this one feels more balanced. It holds its structure just a bit better while keeping that same indulgent chew. Same big-cookie energy. Same indulgent vibe. Just a little more refined in the bite. I also ordered the blueberry muffins and was just as impressed. The crumble topping is generous without being messy or overwhelming. The muffin itself holds its shape beautifully, which tells me the wet-to-dry ratio is spot on. Blueberries in every bite! This is the kind of treat you can genuinely enjoy with your eyes closed. The packaging is exceptional too. You can tell care went into how the cookies and muffins are stored.
