Policies
ORDER CONFIRMATION PROCESS
To ensure your order is officially secured, please review and complete the following steps:
1. Place Your Order
Submit your order request through our Bakesy website.
2. Order Review & Approval
Your order request will be reviewed and approved within 24 hours. Please note that submitting an order request does not guarantee that your order has been accepted.
3. Submit Payment
Once your order has been approved, the required deposit must be paid within 24 hours.
For orders placed less than two weeks before the requested date, the full balance is due within 24 hours of approval.
4. Payment Confirmation
Once payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation text within 8 hours.
Important
All steps must be completed within the required timeframes to secure your order. If any step is incomplete or payment is not received within the specified timeframe, Taylord Cakes reserves the right to deny, release, or cancel the order.
An order is not considered officially secured until the required payment has been received and payment confirmation has been sent.
PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit is needed in order to secure your order and event date and is always non-refundable. Deposits are 50% of the total order price.
If order is placed with less than 2 weeks notice, payment in full is expected to be paid prior to securing your order.
SQUEEZE IN POLICY
If order is placed with less than 2 week notice, a squeeze in fee will automatically be added to your order.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to delivery/pick up date and will be subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of total.
Any cancellations after the 2 weeks prior to delivery/pick up date will not receive a refund!
If you pre-paid in full, or placed a partial deposit, you will NOT get a refund if you cancel your order after the cancellation time frame.
CHANGE OF EVENT DATE POLICY
Often times, decorative elements of your cake will need to be made in advance to give enough time for drying. Therefore, a minimum of 72 hours notice is needed in order to change the pickup or delivery date on any custom order. Post-ponement requests are handled on a case by case basis as availability may be limited for future requested dates.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to move your order to the new requested date or time. As long as 72 hours notice is given, we will always make our best effort to accommodate the request.
If change of pickup or delivery date is not requested within 72 hours notice, no partial credit will be received in the event that we cannot accommodate the date change. Sorry, no exceptions.
