# POLICIES ♡

Please read the following policies before placing your order.

💕 DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

• A **50% deposit** is required to secure your order and reserve your date.

• Your order is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

• The remaining balance is due **2 days before pickup or delivery**.

• Accepted payment methods: **Zelle, Cash and Venmo**.

💗 📅 CANCELLATIONS

• Cancellations made **7+ days before pickup** are eligible for a refund of the amount paid, excluding the deposit.

• Cancellations made **3–6 days before pickup** will receive a refund of 50% of the total amount paid.

• Cancellations made **within 2 days of pickup** are non-refundable.

🔄 RESCHEDULING

Rescheduling requests must be made at least **3 days before the original pickup date** and are subject to availability.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to change your date.

✏️ ORDER CHANGES

Changes to your order should be requested at least **5 days before pickup or delivery**.

After this time, changes may not be possible because your order may already be in preparation.

🎂 FROSTING

**All cakes are made with whipped cream frosting unless otherwise specified.**

If you would like a different frosting, please let me know when placing your order.

**Oyster Bay pickup — FREE**

Delivery pricing:

Oyster Bay / nearby — $15–20

Glen Cove / Bayville / Locust Valley — $20–30

Huntington / Plainview area — $30–40

Further Long Island — Quote based on mileage

Delivery fees may vary depending on the exact location.

❄️ CAKE CARE

• Keep cakes refrigerated until approximately **1 hour before serving**, unless otherwise instructed.

• For best freshness, enjoy cakes within **2–3 days**.

• Keep desserts away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

• Whipped cream cakes should remain refrigerated when not being served.

• Please handle your cake carefully during transportation.

Once an order has been picked up or delivered, Sweets by Leah is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage or exposure to heat.

All cakes and desserts are handmade. Because of this, slight variations in color, decoration and appearance may occur.

Inspiration photos are welcome, but exact replicas of another baker's work cannot be guaranteed.
