I asked for celebratory cake with several unusual modifications… I can't eat eggs, but I wanted it to taste like the traditional multi layered strawberry sponge cake from my 1980s childhood. I also asked for a lower sugar frosting. The cake that Kelly created not only was adapted to my needs, but it was quite literally the best cake I ever tasted. Everyone at the party agreed.

I recently ordered the beautiful birds and the peanut butter chocolate ganache creations from Baksey and the owner was awesome to work with. She was quick to respond to questions and packaged everything so carefully and the order arrive as expected. Overall turnaround was very speedy. I'd use this bake shop again for my special celebration cookie needs again!

I ordered some wonderful items from Sweetie Bakester for a Mother’s Day lunch with my family. I wanted cupcakes and cookies so everyone had a choice. My absolute favorite was the chocolate cupcake with strawberry meringue buttercream frosting. There were real strawberries in the frosting, which made the cupcake taste fresh, light and very flavorful. I also appreciated the frosting to cake ratio -often there’s just not enough frosting! These cupcakes had the perfect ratio. A close second was the chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. Actually, two of my family members would say the chocolate ones were the best. I loved the perfectly baked cake which had a rich dark flavor and again, with a generous amount of chocolate frosting. So delicious! As for the chocolate chip cookies, they were perfect. Not too crunchy and the perfect chewiness which I personally like. Overall, I absolutely loved everything from Sweetie Bakester! I will be ordering again very soon.
