Coming soon: đ° Sweet Whisk â Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use fondant on your cakes?
No. Sweet Whisk specializes exclusively in buttercream-finished cakes. Our signature style highlights rustic-modern textures, hand-piped florals, and the beauty of the cake itself. Fondant is not offered.
What style of cakes do you offer?
Sweet Whisk cakes feature our signature rustic-modern buttercream finish, which intentionally shows some of the cake beneath soft, textured buttercream. This style is warm, elegant, and handcraftedânever factory-perfect.
Can you recreate a fondant or Pinterest-style cake in buttercream?
Weâre happy to adapt inspiration photos into a buttercream-friendly design, but we do not replicate fondant-heavy or sculpted cakes. Each Sweet Whisk cake is designed to fit our style while still honoring your vision.
Are your cakes fully frosted or semi-naked?
Most Sweet Whisk cakes are semi-naked or lightly textured by design. This is intentional and part of our signature look. Fully smooth, opaque finishes are available only when they align with our buttercream style.
Do you offer custom designs?
Yesâwithin our brand style. Custom orders are welcome as long as the design fits our buttercream-only, rustic-modern aesthetic.
Do you make tiered cakes?
Yes. We offer buttercream tiered cakes with proper internal support. Tiered cakes are best suited for floral, textured, or minimalist designs.
What flavors do you offer?
Sweet Whisk focuses on from-scratch flavors, including classic vanilla, chocolate, seasonal specialties, and select sourdough-based items. Flavor availability may vary by season.
How far in advance should I order?
Custom cakes typically require advance notice, especially for tiered or floral designs. Availability is limited to ensure quality and care in every order.
Do you offer delivery?
Pickup and limited local delivery options may be available depending on location and order size. Please inquire for details.
Why donât you offer everything?
Sweet Whisk believes in doing a few things exceptionally well rather than everything halfway. By focusing on buttercream craftsmanship and from-scratch baking, we ensure consistent quality and a recognizable Sweet Whisk style.
