Everything you need to know about getting your custom treats from our kitchen to your table! 📅 Ordering & Timeline How far in advance should I order? • Cookies & Pastries: At least 1 week notice is appreciated. • Custom Decorated Cookies: 2–3 weeks notice, as these require significant design and drying time. • Cakes: 3–4 weeks is ideal. For wedding cakes, we recommend booking 3–6 months in advance to secure your date. Do you take last-minute orders? While we love to help when we can, our calendar fills up quickly. It never hurts to ask, but please note that a "rush fee" may apply to orders placed with less than 72 hours' notice. 🎨 Customization & Design Can I send you a photo of a design I like? Absolutely! Inspiration photos are great for helping us understand your vibe. Please keep in mind that since everything is handmade, we use those photos as a guide to create a unique version for you rather than an exact replica. 💳 Pricing & Payment Why do custom cookies have a price range? Pricing depends on the "labor of love." A simple two-color design with a name costs less than a set involving intricate hand-painting, metallic gold leaf, or five different custom shapes. Is a deposit required? Yes. To officially secure your date on our calendar, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due one week before your pickup or delivery date. 🚚 Pickup & Delivery Where are you located? We are a boutique home-based bakery. Pickup details and the address will be provided once your order is confirmed. Do you deliver? We offer delivery for tiered cakes and large orders for a fee based on mileage. For standard cookie or small cake orders, local pickup is the preferred method. 🧊 Storage & Care How do I store my treats? • Cakes: Keep them cool! Refrigerate until about 1–2 hours before serving. • Royal Icing Cookies: These are best kept at room temperature in their heat-sealed bags. Do not refrigerate them, as the humidity can cause the icing to soften or colors to bleed. • Pastries: Best enjoyed the day of, but can be kept in an airtight container for 2 days.
