Cottage Food Operation – Georgia
All products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to state inspection, in accordance with Georgia Cottage Food Law.
Products are not inspected by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and may contain allergens.
1. Order Confirmation & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your order.
Orders are not confirmed or placed on the calendar until the deposit is received.
2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 2 days prior to pickup.
Orders not paid in full by this deadline will not be completed.
No payments are accepted at pickup, unless arrangements are made prior.
3. Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable.
If you cancel your order, your deposit will be forfeited.
In the case of serious, unavoidable circumstances (such as hospitalization, accident, or emergency), a partial refund may be considered at the bakery’s discretion.
4. Refunds & Returns
Due to the custom nature of baked goods and food safety standards:
No returns are accepted.
No refunds will be issued once an order has been picked up or delivered.
Refunds or partial refunds will only be considered if a verifiable error was made by [Your Bakery Name] that significantly affects the order.
5. Order Changes
Changes must be requested at least 2 days before your scheduled date.
Last-minute changes may not be accommodated and could incur additional charges.
6. Pickup
Customers are responsible for providing accurate details and arriving on time.
Once an order leaves our possession, Sweet Freedom Low Carb Bakes is not responsible for damage, improper handling, or storage conditions.
7. Allergen Disclaimer
Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including, but not limited to:
wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy.
We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment.
8. Customer Agreement
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to all terms listed above.
How do I store my items?
Keep refrigerated until about 30 minutes to an hour before eating. Low carb items are best eaten at room temperature.
How long are my items good for?
Because these products often lack preservatives, they should be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 6 months to maintain freshness. If left at room temperature, they should be eaten within 2-3 days.
Can I return my items?
Due to the nature of your items being a food product, we cannot accept returns.
What allergens are in our items?
Most of our items contain tree nuts (almond flour), dairy (butter) and eggs. Peanut butter cookies contain peanuts.
