Well, you might have read once or twice that I am a scratch bakery, and that fact alone sets apart from most other bakeries. This improves the taste and quality of the products I make. My desserts are not made in factories like those you might purchase from some grocery store bakeries. I never freeze my cakes, though that too is a common practice.
2. I just want a single serving. Can I come in and purchase a small dessert?
Absolutely! Just shoot me a message and I’ll tell what’s available at that moment. I’ve always got stuff ready to go. Usually seasonal items.
3. Are you a full service bakery, or do you only make cakes?
I’m a one stop shop. Cakes. Cookies. Bread. Pies. Casseroles. Try me. I can probably do it.
4. What if I need to cancel my order?
If paid in full, a 75% refund or a 100% store credit will be issued for any cancellations that are made 72 hours before the date of a custom order. If there was only a deposit placed on the order, a store credit will be given of the deposit amount. We do not refund any portion of the purchase price for orders canceled less than 72 hours before the due date and time.
5. I've noticed many of your designs contain 3-D elements such as bows and other items sitting on top of the cakes. What are those?
Those items are made from sugar-based products, like fondant or modeling chocolate. I sculpt them all by hand, which is a very time-consuming process. I rarely use store bought, non-edible decorations on my desserts. These items generally require at least one-two weeks advance notice to create.
6. Do you deliver?
Special circumstances and occasions I will deliver. Surcharge may be applicable.
7. What is the best way to store and serve my cake?
All of our cakes are best served at room temperature. Every order is meant to be served on the date that it is picked up or delivered. This is when the order is at its freshest!
If you have leftovers or need to store your cake overnight, please wrap the cake in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. Please allow enough time for your cake to come to room temperature before serving.
**Fresh Flowers can be added to cakes by custom request. The cake will need to stay very cool so the flowers do not wilt or leak. If your cake has fresh flowers attached, please make sure to remove the flowers and toothpicks before serving. It is also very important to check with your guests to ensure they do not have any allergies related to the fresh florals.**
8. Do you offer wedding cakes?
Yes! We make wedding cakes in a variety of styles and sizes. Our wedding cakes are priced based on the serving size, style, design, materials and labor.
