I’m Mercedes, the creative hands (and heart!) behind every custom cake you see here. I specialize in handcrafted buttercream cakes that are just as stylish as they are delicious—whether it’s a glam heart cake, a leopard-print showstopper, or something totally custom.
Every order is baked fresh, designed with care, and made to stand out. My goal is simple: to bring your vision to life and make your celebration unforgettable.

Capabilities & Pricing
At Sugar N’ Chic, each cake is made-to-order with attention to detail and a touch of glam. I specialize in custom buttercream cakes with a chic, modern twist—think heart cakes, star cakes, vintage piping, edible images, glitter cherries, bows, and more.
Cake Sizes & Starting Prices:
• 6-inch (3-layer) – serves ~12–15, starts at $120+
• 8-inch (3-layer) – serves ~20–25, starts at $165+
• Tiered Cakes – custom quoted based on size and design
(Final price depends on design complexity, toppers, edible images, and other add-ons.)
Please note: I do not work with fondant or whipped cream-based designs.

Terms And Conditions
Allergy Disclaimer: I work in a kitchen that is not allergen-free. My products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, and cocoa. I am not responsible for any allergic reactions. ⸻ Order Approval & Refund Policy: Please inspect your order at the time of pickup. Due to the perishable and custom nature of my products, all sales are final and I do not accept returns or issue refunds. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact me within 24 hours of pickup so I can address any concerns. Once the cake leaves my possession, I am not responsible for any damage that occurs during transport or afterward. ⸻ Cancellations & Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable. If your order is canceled at least 2 weeks before the pickup date, any additional payments beyond the deposit may be refunded. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the pickup date are not eligible for a refund. ⸻ Design Disclaimers: I do my best to bring your vision to life, but please understand that designs, colors, and styles may vary slightly, especially when working with buttercream. Exact color matches are not guaranteed, but I will get as close as possible. I reserve the right to decline last-minute changes once your order has been confirmed. ⸻ Edible & Inedible Materials: While my cakes and fondant decorations are made to be edible, some designs may include non-edible supports such as toothpicks, dowels, skewers, paper, or wire. Please remove all non-edible items before serving.

Pickup Days & Hours: Tuesday – Friday: • Morning pickup: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM • Evening pickup: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday: • Morning pickup only: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ⸻ Pickup Location: Pickup is near I-10 East and the beltway/ wallisville rd. Houston, TX 77049. The exact address will be shared the week of your pickup. Please text me when you arrive, and I’ll bring your order out to your vehicle. ⸻ Late Policy: Pickup outside of your selected time window is not guaranteed. If you’re running behind, please reach out as early as possible. ⸻ Uber Package Pickups: If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to send an Uber Package to collect your order. Detailed instructions are available upon request.
