Last Updated: 8/14/2025 Welcome to Southern Maine Treats! By purchasing our products, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline important information about our products, your responsibilities as a customer, and limitations of our liability. 1. Orders & Payment * All orders must be paid in full prior to pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. * 50% deposit must be paid at time of order. * Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed and paid orders will not be affected. 2. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions * Our products are prepared in a kitchen that may handle common allergens, including (but not limited to) wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other potential allergens. * While we take care to avoid cross-contamination where possible, we cannot guarantee allergen-free products. * It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions prior to ordering. * All gluten free products are made with gluten free ingredients, but are made in a home with gluten. 3. Product Handling After Delivery or Pickup * Once products leave our possession—whether by customer pickup, third-party delivery, or other arrangement—Southern Maine Treats is no longer responsible for the condition, safety, or quality of the items. * Customers are responsible for the safe handling, storage, and consumption of all products after pickup/delivery, including: * Keeping perishable items refrigerated as needed. * Following recommended consumption-by dates. * Avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures or conditions. 4. Liability Disclaimer * Southern Maine Treats is not liable for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, or other adverse effect resulting from the consumption of our products after they have left our possession. * We are not responsible for products that are damaged, spoiled, or otherwise compromised after pickup/delivery due to improper handling, storage, or transportation by the customer or a third party. * By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and accept all risks related to their handling and consumption once they are in your care. 5. Cancellations & Refunds * Orders canceled more than 7 days before pickup/delivery may be eligible for a full or partial refund. * Cancellations made within 7 days of pickup/delivery may not be refundable due to the perishable nature of our products and preparation timelines. * No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with taste, texture, or appearance once the product has been delivered/picked up, unless a significant defect is proven to have occurred prior to transfer. 6. Changes to These Terms Southern Maine Treats reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website or provided upon request. Continued purchases after changes are posted constitute acceptance of the new terms. 7. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine. By placing an order with Southern Maine Treats, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
