CAPABILITIES • All cakes are buttercream-based. I do not offer fully fondant-covered cakes. Minimal fondant accents may be used for decoration only. • I do not fully replicate custom cake designs. Inspiration photos are welcome, but each cake is a unique creation in my personal style. • At this time, I do not offer gluten-free or vegan cakes—but these options are coming soon. BOOKINGS • I typically book out 1 to 2 months in advance. • All orders are first come, first served and are not guaranteed without a deposit. • I highly recommend booking as soon as you have the funds to secure your spot. PAYMENTS • A deposit is due within 72 hours of placing your order to hold your date. • RUSH ORDERS (placed within 7 days or less) require FULL PAYMENT at the time of ordering and will incur a rush fee. • Invoices left unpaid after 72 hours will be canceled unless a payment arrangement has been confirmed in advance. • Accepted payment methods include Cash App, Zelle, and Venmo. DELIVERY & PICKUP • Pickup is available in Richmond, TX. The exact address will be provided once your order is confirmed. • Delivery starts at $15 and is based on distance, starting with local deliveries within 30 minutes. • Longer-distance deliveries may incur additional fees and must be confirmed in advance. • Delivery is not guaranteed unless approved and paid in full. • Customers must arrive on time for pickup. I am not responsible for any items left unattended. • Once a cake has been picked up or delivered, Somethin’ Sweet Bakery is no longer responsible for damages, delays, or changes in quality. • If picking up, please ensure your vehicle is fully air-conditioned. Cakes are best transported in cool conditions—temperatures above 71°F can affect quality. CANCELLATIONS • All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your order and date. • If you provide at least 7 days’ notice of cancellation, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the remaining balance (the deposit is still non-refundable). • Deposits can be transferred to a new date if the original date is successfully rebooked and the new date is available. • Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice will not be eligible for a refund. • In the unlikely event that Somethin’ Sweet Bakery must cancel, a full refund will be issued. REFUNDS & RE-BOOKINGS • All cakes are custom and made to order—no full refunds will be issued once work has begun. • Re-bookings may be considered with at least 7 days’ notice, based on availability. • Same-day orders are not accepted under any circumstances. • RUSH ORDERS are only accepted when scheduling allows and will require FULL PAYMENT upfront, along with a rush fee. AGREEMENT By placing and confirming an order with Somethin’ Sweet Bakery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these policies. This helps ensure clear communication and a positive experience for everyone involved.
