We visited VA Beach for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I reached out with late notice to see if the owner had availability to make cupcakes and explained the celebration. She was so kind and did a quick turnaround with delicious strawberry shortcake and vanilla cupcakes (decorated beautifully). We will definitely be coming back to the shop on future visits!

Sloanans never fails to amaze me. I contacted her with less then 24 hr notice, desperate for a peach pie for my moms 70th birthday. Not only did she bake the most delicious pie ever, she did it in record time & SUPERRRR REASONABLY PRICED!!!!! Huge thank you to her. This pie was sooooo yummy, just like all her cakes have been. They are Always FRESH, and I’m always extremely impressed! Thank you Sloanans!!! ❤️KB

We just shared and enjoyed the best apple crumb apple pie ever — and I am a senior citizen—have made them and bought a few. Jen’s pie was mouth watering, full of flavor, large and beautiful! It was a gourmet delight for my friends. It was Loverly! Will of course be back for more dessert treasures!

One of the best cakes I’ve ever had! I ordered a smash cake for my son turning one. He absolutely loved smashing cake. The adults all agreed it tasted amazing! Cake looked exactly like I envisioned! Would recommend Solanans Bakery to anyone and would definitely order from here again.

I don’t know what kind of magic Sloanan’s is working, but her cookie cake is next-level delicious. Think: perfectly golden edges, a soft, chewy center that melts in your mouth, and just the right amount of frosting (not too sweet, not too skimpy—just right). If you’re on the fence about ordering—don’t be. This isn’t just dessert. It’s an experience. Will 100% be back for birthdays, workout parties, Tuesdays—whatever excuse I can find.
