*How soon should I order?
All orders should be placed 2 weeks in advance. However, to ensure availability for your desired date, I would consider placing as soon as possible. My availability is limited.
*Do I have to pay at time of order?
You will have to pay a 20% deposit of your total order at the time your placement. That deposit will go towards your remaining balance. The deposit will be forfeited if you do not pay your remaining amount due.
*When will I need to pay my balance by?
All orders must be paid for in total within 48 hours of delivery. If the balance is not paid, you forfeit your order and your 20% deposit will not be refunded.
*Where are you located?
I am a home baker located in Buttonwillow, CA.
*Do you deliver?
Yes, I do offer delivery for an additional charge. Please note, all multi-tiered cakes require delivery.
*Do you offer gluten free or allergen free?
No, there maybe traces of flour, wheat, soy, eggs, nuts, and dairy. While I do ensure the best quaility and environment to bake in, I cannot with certainty say there are no traces whatsoever of any allergens.
*Can I change my order after I’ve placed it?
Yes, you can change your order up to five days before it is due. This includes changing the date.
*Can I cancel my order?
Yes, but you will need to do so no more than five days before your scheduled due date. Any orders cancelled after the five days will result in a forfeit of deposit.
*Can someone else pick my order up?
Yes, but please communicate this with me. I do require all orders to be signed for to ensure they are satisfied with what they are receiving. Once goodies are out of my hands, I am no longer responsible for their care. Cakes, cupcakes, and cookies are fragile. Traveling with caution is advised.
*What happens if my goods become damaged during transport?
I am so sorry to say that an unfortunate situation that I cannot help with. Please take note of all travel tips on my page as well as noted on your goody box.
*If I am not satisfied with my order, can I get a refund?
All orders must be signed for at pickup to prevent this situation. If at pickup/delicery you are unsatisfied, you will have two options. Option 1: A refund and no goodies. Option 2: I can remake your goodies for you for a later time with 15% off. I take pride in my baked goods and do my absolute best to make sure they not only looks amazing but taste just as great! That being said, if you would like to taste my flavors beforehand, I do offer tasting boxes!
*What frosting do you use?
I use royal icing for my decorated sugar cookies and offer vanilla or chocolate buttercream frosting for my gourmet cookies.
*How long are the cookies good for?
They are good for 7 days kept in an airtight container at room temperature.
*Do your sugar cookies have nuts?
Yes, I use almond extract in my recipe.
*What frosting do you use?
I use a buttercream frosting for all cakes and cupcakes. Please refer to my fillings for a list of what I offer.
*How long do they last for?
Cakes and cupcakes are good for 5 days in an airtight container refrigerated.
*What color cupcake liners do you use?
I use white liners that become more clear as you bake them. You can request other colors for an additional price.
*Do you offer cake cutting service?
I do offer cake cutting service at an additional price.
An order request does not guarantee your order. An order is not placed until the Client receives an invoice and has paid the 20% deposit fee calculated by the total of the order. The initial deposit reserves the Client’s event date and is applied to the remaining total. All orders must be paid for in full 48 hours before due date. If the order remains unpaid, no order will be made and the Client forfeits their deposit. Cancellations must be made 5 days before due date to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made after the 5 days will forfeit any payment made. If the Client wishes to change their order it must be done no less than 5 days before order is due. Any changes made after initial order are not guaranteed. If the Client would like to move the due date, it has to be done no less than 5 days before initial due date. The new date is not guaranteed and cannot be any sooner than previous due date. Cakes and cupcakes may contain non-edible items such as toppers, support dowels, ribbons and more. It is the Client’s responsibility to remove these items prior to serving. Delivery and/or set up are not automatically included and are available for an additional charge that will be discussed and agreed upon before added to invoice total. Sinberry’s is not responsible for any damages to baked goods after set up and/or delivery. The Client is responsible for providing a secure table and environment for the items. Any baked items containing fruit or buttercream require an environment that is no warmer than 80 degrees and out of direct sunlight. A signature will be required by the Client at time of pick up or after deliver/set up to ensure items are as described. Sinberry’s is not responsible for any damages incurred after this signature. In the case that the Client has someone else receive the order, the Client will have had to provide permission and still accepts responsibility for any damaged goods. It is the Client’s duty to make sure items are handled carefully and as advised by Sinberry’s. If the Client has the items that require refrigeration out beyond two hours, damage will incur that is of the Client’s fault. If an accident occurs in the hands of Sinberry’s and the Client’s items are ruined, a full refund will be issued and a stock item will be gifted. Sinberry’s reserves the right to use all photographs of their baked goods for advertisement and promotional purposes. Sinberry’s promises the best product and service that they are capable of. However, in the event that the Client is unsatisfied with their order and has not signed the completion agreement, a full refund will be issued and the Client will not receive any items. By submitting a request for an order, the Client agrees to all of the fore-mentioned.
