Hello, friends! Welcome to my feeble attempt at pursuing my passion for baking and sharing all the goodness with you. My name is Shelbie (obviously) and I inherited my grandma’s love for the kitchen. I also inherited her recipes (love that for me)! With this venture, I hope to do her proud and to continue growing as a home baker. My everyday life consists of 4 children (ages 6-16), 4 pets, a hot hubby who works constantly, homeschooling, renovating an entire house, and all the other funzies that come with being a stay-at-home mom. God’s grace is sufficient, but I’m telling you right now, there might be some days that baking gets put on the back burner because of all of the above. I promise to do my best to communicate ASAP if that is ever the case. Just hang in there with me and I’ll give you my best. Pinkie promise. As you will see, the goodies I have to offer are named specifically for a loved one OR have been given the name out of a special meaning. My other passion is writing…I kinda like words. Every week, my regular items will be available for order Saturday-Wednesday. I will have 1 new item every week available for order during that time, but once that item is gone, it’s gone. I will communicate with you one-on-one to work out pick up. I lived in a big city for 26 years, so not too trusting with handing out my address…Kroger parking lot, anyone? I have a pre-teen who is a tech wiz and basically records every moment of our day. If you follow my shop on social media (which is where I’m assuming you found me in the first place), you will more than likely see videos/reels/pics/embarrassing moments and who knows what other kind of content since there’s no privacy around here. Sounds fun, right? Stay tuned! All of this to say thank you for stopping by. I’ll do my best to give you delish options and fun surprises. Oh! A few more “housekeeping” things: this is home baking-no fancy pants items here. If you need a painted cookie or a towering cake, I’m not your girl. BUT, I do have a girl I can direct you to. If you have food allergies, ect., I am not your girl. This is old fashioned baking with butter, sugar, and flour. If you’re on a diet, my condolences. I’d love to help you, but once again, probably not your girl. Currently, I can only offer local pick ups which means no shipping. If this thing blows up or someone with more smarts than me knows how to ship baked goods without them getting disgusting, maybe that will come in the future.
