Terms and Conditions for Custom Orders 1. Allergen Information: Customers are responsible for informing us of any known allergies prior to placing an order. While we take precautions to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our cakes, cupcakes, or other baked goods are free from allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and soy. By placing an order, the customer accepts full responsibility for managing their own allergies. 2. Quotes: All quotes provided for custom Treats are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. After this period, a new quote may be required, as prices are subject to change. 3. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of order to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of delivery or pickup. Orders without a deposit will not be confirmed. 4. Final Payment: For orders being paid in cash, Please ensure you have the exact amount, as we may not have change available. All other payments are due 2 days for pickup/ delivery. 5. Delivery Fees: A delivery fee of $30 applies for local orders within Fairfield. For locations beyond this area, the delivery fee will be calculated based on distance and may vary. 6. Cake Care: Once your cake is delivered or picked up, the customer is responsible for proper care and handling. Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place and should not be left in direct sunlight or exposed to excessive heat. We are not responsible for any damage or deterioration to the cake once it has been handed over to the customer. 7. Third-Party Receipt & Inspection: If someone other than the person placing the order is receiving the cake, a third-party inspection form must be filled out at the time of delivery or pickup. The third party is required to check the cake for any visible damage and sign to confirm the cake was received in good condition. This signature acknowledges that the cake was inspected upon delivery or pickup and is free from any visible damage at that time. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs after this confirmation. 8. Order Lead Time: We require at least 14 days’ notice for all custom orders. Orders placed with less than 14 days’ notice may be subject to availability and may incur an additional rush fee. 9. Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as sickness or emergency, that may affect the order or delivery, we will work with you to accommodate changes. However, we cannot guarantee full refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the delivery or pickup date, 10. Cancellation Policy: Orders may be canceled with a full refund of the deposit if canceled within 48 hours of placing the order. Cancellations made after this period may result in the forfeiture of the deposit. 11. Publication Rights: We reserve the right to use images of any products we create for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.
