Cakes should be kept in a cool place or fridge between delivery/collection and serving. We advise taking the cake out of the fridge at least one hour before serving to allow it to come up to room temperature. No one likes cold cake!
If you've opted for cakes with fresh flowers, I would advise serving on the day of collection or delivery to avoid any droopy flowers!
A note on portion size
The number of portions in this menu are based on a regular cake slice if you were cutting into a triangle. However my recommendation - since the cakes that are listed in my menu are rich in flavour they actually benefit from being cut into a finger sized portion (1"x1"x4") vs. a wedge of cake that can be too filling for most! If you do this, the portions above can be almost doubled per cake!
A note on allergens
PLEASE NOTE: ALL OF MY CAKES ARE MADE IN A SMALL PRODUCTION HOME KITCHEN WHERE NUTS, PEANUTS, EGGS, MILK, SOYA, SESAME, GLUTEN AND ALCOHOL ARE USED. FOR THIS REASON, I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THEY ARE FREE FROM TRACES OF THESE ALLERGENS. I TAKE ALL THE NECESSARY STEPS TO ENSURE CROSS CONTAMINATION DOESN'T HAPPEN, HOWEVER, THERE IS ALWAYS A RISK THAT ONE OF OUR PRODUCTS HAS COME INTO CONTACT WITH ANOTHER PRODUCT AND THEREFORE ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES OF ANY KIND.
