🍂 Winter Hearth
Warmth, Protection & Holding
Winter asked Appalachian homes to turn inward—to seal drafts, bank fires, and create warmth that could last through long nights.
In Winter Hearth, participants explore household traditions centered on comfort, protection, and care. Through story and sensory learning, we examine how warming spices, citrus, and simple hearth practices supported wellness and hospitality during winter months.
Participants will prepare a seasonal winter simmer pot to take home, using traditional ingredients chosen for warmth, comfort, and staying power. This blend reflects winter’s nature—meant to settle, linger, and hold.
This class is grounding, reflective, and deeply sensory—an invitation to slow down and tend the hearth.
☀️ Summer Kitchen
Breath, Work & Hospitality
Summer moved the work of the home outward—to porches, gardens, and summer kitchens—where lightness and breath mattered more than intensity.
In Summer Kitchen, participants explore herb-forward household practices designed for heat, daily rhythm, and ease. We discuss how gentle scents supported hospitality, calm, and rest without overwhelming busy homes.
Participants will create two seasonal summer simmer pot blends to take home—one designed for daytime freshness and one for quiet evening spaces. Emphasis is placed on discernment and simplicity.
This class is ideal for anyone seeking practical, soothing home practices during the height of summer.
🍁 Autumn Hearth
Gathering, Preservation & Preparation
Autumn marked the return inward—when homes prepared for winter by preserving food, gathering supplies, and reintroducing grounding scents.
Autumn Hearth explores household traditions tied to harvest, preparation, and readiness. Participants learn how apples, roots, and spices returned to the home as part of seasonal rhythm—not decoration, but preparation.
Participants will prepare an autumn simmer pot blend to take home, designed to ground the home and support the transition from outward summer living to inward winter care.
This class offers a meaningful pause between seasons—a chance to gather what’s needed and prepare with intention.
🌱 Spring Threshold
Clearing, Opening & Letting Go
Spring arrived not through decoration, but through movement—open windows, aired bedding, and the quiet release of winter from the home.
Spring Threshold focuses on transitional household practices used to clear stagnation and welcome fresh air and light. Participants learn why spring scents were traditionally light and temporary, designed to move through the home rather than stay.
Participants will create a seasonal spring simmer pot blend to take home, honoring the practice of gentle cleansing and release. This blend is meant for short use—supporting transition rather than holding energy.
This class offers a thoughtful way to mark the shift from winter into spring.
