All our Products made by us are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
INGREDIENTS
All products made by Rae’s Kookie Cutters may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform Rae’s Kookie Cutters prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy issues.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly the Supplier will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of products made.
All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration.
ORDERS & CHANGES
Reservation for your order is not guaranteed until a NON-REFUNDABLE 25% deposit is received within 48 hours of receipt of invoice.
We prefer at least fourteen (14) days notice for all orders, as we are continually booked in advance. We will however endeavor, where availability permits accept short notice cakes.
Any Products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo.
Plans change and we truly understand. We will be glad to assist in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible.
Acceptable changes (flavors, fillings and some designs) to your order should be given within 7 days before delivery or pick up date.
For cakes and last minute orders placed with less than 48 hours or cakes with intrincate designs, notifications should be within 2 weeks of date. This is because for some designs would require additional work for our team and may need more than 10 days in advance to start working on the decoration of your cake.
All changes must be handled and confirmed directly with owner before any changes are made to order.
QUOTES
All quotes issued are valid for seven (7) days after issuance. After seven (7) days, a new quote will be provided.
DEPOSITS
Reservation for your order is not guaranteed until a NON-REFUNDABLE 25% deposit is received within 48 hours of receipt of invoice.
Where the order has been picked up or we have delivered what is quoted and invoiced, but the Customer does not accept the finished Product, the deposit WILL NOT be refunded.
If we provide special/personalized decorations specifically for your order, your deposit will be increased to cover the additional cost of personalized items/decorations.
- Delivery Fee is non-refundable after delivery has been made.
- Designs must be finalized within 1 week of your event date.
- Flavors must be finalized within 72 hours of your event date. Some restrictions may apply if ingredients have already been purchased.
PAYMENTS
Rae’s Kookie Cutters accepts Venmo, PayPal & Square payments. Upon ordering, customer will receive an invoice for their order which will need to be paid accordingly. If full payment is not received by order date, your order will not be filled.
There will be a 3.5% credit card processing fee assessed with every credit card payment processed through Square.
FINAL BALANCE PAYMENTS AND PICKUPS
The balance is due before pickup/delivery date, and before the Product leaves the premises.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible to ensure that products gets to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.
Rae’s Kookie Cutters is not responsible for orders once they leave our premises. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transport, delivery, set-up or any time thereafter.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We accept cancellations up to 7 days before the delivery or pickup date. However, this does not apply to specialty cakes and last minute orders placed with less than 48 hours, or intrincate cake designs (highly decorated cakes).
Rae’s Kookie Cutters reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given, as stated above, due to costs incurred in the purchase, preparation and priorization of the order.
Charges for cancellations will be as follows:
- 14 days or more prior to pick-up or delivery date, refund will be given minus the 25% non-refundable amount will be returned to customer. If there is any balance pending this will be due immediately.
- 7 days or more prior to pick up or delivery date, 50% of the entire order will be charged. If there is any balance pending this will be due immediately.
- Less than 7 days prior to pick-up or delivery date, NO refunds will be given, and the total amount of the order will be due.
- Special orders that are not picked up will NOT be refunded.
- We make everything from scratch and bake to order. Full refunds requested due to flavor will not be honored.
- Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. An extended period without refrigeration will deteriorate the cake as well as the decoration.
- It is entirely up to Rae’s Kookie Cutters discretion to change or otherwise offer any other options to the customer.
- If, for any reason the event is required to be postponed, please contact me immediately. The new date proposed will be subject to availability.
If cancellation of the order is required, and you have paid your full balance, the refund policy is as follows:
If the cancellation is up to one (1) month in advance of your event date, you will receive a refund, less your initial deposit and the cost of any supplies already purchased for your cake.
If the cancellation is less than seven (7) days prior to your event, there will be absolutely no refunds given.
Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation.
Please note: Any non-refunded balance may be credited toward future purchases.
PICKUPS, DELIVERIES & DAMAGES
PICKUP
The Customer is liable for any damage, accident, or mishap that may occur once the order has been released from the care and custody of the Supplier’s. The Supplier is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter.
DELIVERIES
We offer delivery for certain destinations. Delivery charges will be applied.
Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.
A delivery address, date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.
Rae’s Kookie Cutters CANNOT ship. All orders are local delivery or pickup only.
DAMAGES
Rae’s Kookie Cutters is not responsible for orders once they leave our premises. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transport, delivery, set-up or any time thereafter.
If a third party will be collecting the cake on the customer’s behalf, a release form is to be signed by that person, stating the cake is received in good condition at the time of pickup/delivery.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Where we cancel the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects the ability to deliver the ordered Product, notification and the deposit will be refunded to the Customer.
PUBLICATION
We reserve the right to use any image of a Product made by us for publication at a later date.
