Patty Cakes Company – Payment & Policy Agreement Payment Policy • A 3.3% transaction fee applies to all card payments. This is automatically added to ensure I receive the full payment amount. • No payment = No confirmation. Orders are not confirmed until payment is received. • Cash payments are not accepted due to repeated instances of counterfeit bills from past transactions. • Unpaid invoices will automatically cancel at closing time (6 PM) on the day they are sent. • If sent outside of business hours (6 AM – 6 PM), the invoice will be scheduled to cancel 1 hour after being sent. • After two (2) cancellations, clients will be permanently banned from booking. ⸻ Pickup Information • Location: Durham, NC • The exact address will be sent 1 hour before your scheduled pickup time on the day of your order. • Pickup Hours: Monday–Saturday, 6 AM – 6 PM • Other times may be available upon request but are not guaranteed. ⸻ Delivery Information • All custom orders within the Triangle area are delivered via Uber by default (similar to DoorDash). • By requesting delivery, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with third-party delivery. Patty Cakes Company / Mikaylah Patrick is not liable for any damage once the order leaves my property. • Drivers are informed that treats are fragile and should be transported with care. • You will receive a tracking link on the day of delivery, and the driver will have direct contact with you. • Personal delivery is available upon request but is typically higher in cost. ⸻ Liability Disclaimer • By confirming your purchase, you agree that Patty Cakes Company is NOT responsible for any damage to cakes/treats after pickup or delivery. • This includes situations where cakes are used for social media trends involving burning or stabbing, as these can be safety hazards. • Please exercise caution with any such activities. ⸻ Burning Cake Care Instructions • For best results, burn the same day as pickup to avoid moisture buildup. • If the edible image gets wet or is refrigerated for too long, it may sink and burn unevenly—or not at all—due to the nature of wafer paper. ⸻ Agreement • By submitting payment, you confirm that all details on your invoice are correct and that you agree to all policies, terms, and conditions listed here and on any attached fliers. • Failure to read the policies is the sole responsibility of the client. ⸻ Customer Appreciation As a thank-you for your support, text “TREAT25” along with your name to 757-577-1786 to receive $25 off your next cake or treat order in 2025 (excluding sales).
