This is our very own recipe for a sourdough loaf. It begins with our starter, Odie, combined with higher quality Wheat Montana bread flour, whole wheat flour, and dark rye flour. Honey, barley malt, and olive oil help to give this bread a soft interior with a beautiful crumb and a nicely browned crust. This is a great all-purpose bread.

Einkorn is one a very few remaining ancient grains which are grown from the original, unaltered strain of einkorn wheat. It has never been genetically altered or bred to change any characteristics. As such, its gluten protein structure is weaker, and it has a richer and nuttier flavor.

It is a possible alternative for those with gluten sensitivity. However, it is NOT for anyone with gluten intolerance or those with Celiac disease. Please do your own research if you have a gluten sensitivity.
