Deposit & Refund Policy

At Nonna J’s Sweet Treats and Charcuterie, every order is made fresh to order and requires planning, scheduling, and ingredient purchasing in advance. To ensure fairness to all clients, the following policy applies:

Deposits

* A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all custom orders and reserve your date.

* Orders are not considered confirmed until the deposit is received.

* Deposit payments go toward the total balance of your order.

* Full payment may be required upfront for holiday orders, specialty pre-orders, or orders placed within 7 days of pickup/delivery.

Final Payment

* Remaining balances are due 3 days prior to pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

* Orders not paid in full by the due date may be subject to cancellation.

Cancellations & Refunds

Custom Orders (cakes, dessert tables, charcuterie, specialty desserts):

* Deposits are non-refundable, as they cover consultation, scheduling, and materials purchased.

* Cancellations made 14 days or more before the order date may receive a refund of payments made excluding the deposit.

* Cancellations made less than 14 days before the order date are not eligible for refunds.

Standard Orders (cupcakes, cookies, pastries, etc.):

* Cancellations made 72 hours or more before pickup may receive a store credit or refund at discretion.

* Cancellations made less than 72 hours before pickup are generally non-refundable.

Date Changes / Rescheduling

* One date change may be accommodated with at least 7 days notice, subject to availability.

* Deposits may transfer to the new date if approved.

* Last-minute reschedules may require a new deposit.

Order Changes

* Design, flavor, or quantity changes requested after an order is confirmed may result in additional charges.

* Significant changes close to the order date may not be possible.

No Refunds After Pickup/Delivery

* Once an order has been picked up or delivered and accepted, refunds are not offered.

* If there is an issue with your order, concerns must be reported within 24 hours so we can review and make reasonable efforts to resolve it.

Force Majeure

* In the rare event of severe illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, a refund or store credit (including deposit) may be issued at our discretion.
