About
Hi! I’m Autumn Gathers, the heart behind NOM Bakehouse.
NOM began as something deeply personal—my way of coping and grounding myself while moving through trauma therapy. I never imagined I’d become a baker. In fact, I’d always been a cookie lover, but baking felt like something I’d never attempt… until one especially difficult therapy session when all I could do was come home and bake.
That moment changed everything.
What started as an emotional outlet quickly turned into a passion. I fell in love with cookies all over again—but this time, from the inside out. Every batch became a little piece of healing, creativity, and joy. As a Charleston, SC native, sharing comfort through food is part of who I am, and NOM Bakehouse became the place where comfort and craft came together.
Now, I’m grateful to share those treats—and a little bit of that healing—with you.
