Yes, I heat seal all my cookies in individually sealed bags to make sure they stay fresh for up to 2 weeks past pick up date.
Cookie Storage
Cookies should be kept at room temperature. Please avoid leaving cookies in your cold or hot car while you run errands. Humidity can also affect the cookie details as well. I recommend picking up your cookies on the day of your event. (Let me keep them stored properly for you!) Do not place in a sunny window, garage or fridge. If you have left over, you may freeze your cookies with the special instructions that come on the cookie care card on top of your box.
How long do the cookies stay fresh?
Cookies are baked and decorated within the week of the due date. After cookies are done, they are individually heat sealed in clear bags to ensure the cookies stay fresh up until 2 weeks after your pick up date.
Can you freeze your cookies?
Yes, you absolutely can freeze the cookies. But there are specific steps in doing this.
1. Place cookies (that are still individually packaged), in a freezer safe container. Layering them is fine. Close the lid and freeze.
2. When you’re ready to enjoy your cookies, remove container from freezer and set on your countertop, out of direct sunlight/heat, UNOPENED for no less than 6 hours. (24 hours is best)
3. Enjoy your cookies! You can freeze them up to 3 months from the date you received them.
Can I cancel/change my pickup date if the party gets moved?
The answer to this question is yes and no. If I have no already started baking your order, we can absolutely push back your pickup date, or I can refund you all together. But if the cookies are already done, you do have an option to freeze them at your house, with special instructions. They will be fresh up to 3 months after the date you put them in the freezer.
