For the best freshness and quality, your cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days after pickup or in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Be sure to keep your cake properly covered or stored in its original box.

For safe transportation, keep your cake on a flat, level surface in your vehicle, preferably on the floor with the A/C running, or if you have someone with you,it’s best to have them hold onto the cake. Avoid placing the cake on a seat, as it may tilt or slide during the drive. Keep the cake away from direct sunlight and never leave it in a hot vehicle. Also grab the cake from the bottom of the cake box, never the sides.

Once you arrive, refrigerate your cake until you’re ready to serve. For the best texture and flavor, we recommend taking it out of the refrigerator approximately 30–60 minutes before serving.
