Heart shaped vanilla cake with a side of emotion.Raven Noble
I recently had the honor (and let’s be honest, the emotional rollercoaster) of devouring a heart-shaped vanilla cake. Now, I don’t know what kind of wizardry went into baking this thing, but it felt like it came straight out of Cupid’s personal oven.
First of all, it was heart-shaped. Which is adorable until you realize you’re about to cut into a symbol of love with a serrated knife. I paused for a moment of silence… then ate it like it owed me money.
The flavor? Classic vanilla — but not the “plain and boring” kind. No, this was rich, buttery, and sweet in that dangerously comforting way that makes you wonder if the cake knows your emotional weaknesses. It tasted like what I wish my life smelled like.
The frosting was smooth and light, like a whipped cloud with ambitions. I was only going to have one slice, but somehow my hand developed a mind of its own. By the time I came to, the heart was gone… broken, but in the most delicious way possible.
Final thoughts: this cake made me feel loved, full, and slightly ashamed. 12/10 — would absolutely ruin my diet for again.
