How far in advance should I order?
We recommend placing orders at least 1ā2 weeks in advance. Large or custom event cakes may require more notice. Last minute orders may be accepted if I am able to accommodate it and will incur a rush fee; 3-5 days notice $25, 24-48 hrs $50
š Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) is required to secure your order and date. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received. Orders made within a weeks notice must pay in full.
šµ When is final payment due?
Final payment is due 7 days before pickup/delivery. Orders not paid in full may be canceled.
š Do you offer delivery?
Yes, Delivery service is available for an extra fee, depending on the date and address. Delivery fees typically start at $1.50 per mile. Large orders will have a $15 fee +$1.50 per mile.
š What happens if Iām late to pickup?
Please arrive on time. Late pickups over 30 minutes may require rescheduling depending on availability. Picks up are between 9am-11am or after 6pm on Weekdays. Before 10am on weekends.
š§ Do cakes need refrigeration?
Buttercream cakes are best kept refrigerated until 1ā2 hours before serving.
š„ Are your products cottage-food compliant?
Yes. All products are made in accordance with Florida Cottage Food regulations, meaning they are produced in a home kitchen not inspected by the Department of Agriculture.
ā What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs with sufficient notice, credit toward a future order may be offered at our discretion.

We will do our best to accommodate.
Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, or tree nuts. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

⢠Changes must be requested at least 5 days before pickup/delivery.
⢠Flavor, size, or design changes close to the date may not be possible.
⢠Once full payment has been received changes may be made on a case by case basis.
ā Cancellations & Refunds
⢠Deposits are non-refundable.
⢠Orders canceled within 5 days of the event are not eligible for refund.
⢠Credits for future orders may be offered at our discretion.
š Delivery & Pickup
⢠Pickup details will be provided once the order is confirmed.
⢠Delivery is available on a case by case basis for an additional fee based on distance. Delivery fees typically start at $1.50 per mile. Large orders will have a $15 fee +$1.50 per mile.
⢠Customers must ensure someone is available to receive delivery at the scheduled time.
⢠Once the order is picked up or delivered, Moonlight Cakes is not responsible for damage.
⢠Orders must be picked up between 9am-11am or after 6pm on weekdays. Pickup and deliveries will be done before 10am on Weekends.

⢠Buttercream cakes should be kept refrigerated until about 1ā2 hours before serving.
⢠Cakes should be transported on a flat surface (car floor recommended, not seat).
⢠Moonlight Cakes is not responsible for damage due to improper storage or transport.
