FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much notice do you need for a cake?
For wedding cakes we like to have 2-6 months notice. This allows us to be available for your day in advance, discuss flavour and design options and include a tasting consult.
For other celebration cakes & events we like at least 2-3 weeks notice as we need to order flowers, toppers and supplies. Of course we have most ingredients on hand at all times for last minute requests, we need the time to prepare custom orders.
We understand last minute events come up, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will try our best to accommodate.
2. How do I place an order?
You can fill out a contact form on this site, head to our online shop and order or call / text us on 0418432981
3. Can i come and meet you to discuss my cake or event?
Yes you can, although we need notice for this, we can usually meet you in a quieter time during the week usually between Mondays - Wednesday’s at our venue. We usually delegate about half - 1 hour for this.
4. How do i make payment?
Through this online store, you can purchase straight away through paypal or debit card.
5. Do you deliver or can we pick up our order?
Pick up is preferred, as each week we have many orders to accommodate. We will get in contact with you the week of your event and give you a time slot to grab your goodies.
6. How do i store my cake?
We recommend storing our cakes and desserts in the fridge as soon as you get home. They are made reform buttercream and will go soft if not cared for properly.
We recommend taking the cake out of the fridge for display / cake cutting and eating about 1-2 hours before event so it can be soft for you to eat.
Cakes should be displayed on a strong table surface and out of direct sunlight in a cooled room - about 20 degrees.
7. How much are your cakes?
This is a standard question which we cannot answer until we have the following information:
Event date / number of guests / flavour & filling choices / decorations / toppers / flowers etc
This all reflects the price of your custom cake as each cake is different. Even I can’t replicate my own designs a second time
We have a selection of cakes of different sixes and styles and can always customise to your specific design & budget.
