Welcome to Moku Bakery!
A small, home-based Japanese style micro bakery offering shokupan that’s soft, simple, and full of heart!
I learned to make this humble bread through an apprenticeship in Japan, and I bake each loaf with the same care and quiet charm I fell in love with there.
Ready for pre-order and porch pick-up!!
[Fresh is best]
Your Shokupan is baked fresh with no preservatives, so here's how to keep it at its fluffy best:
• Storage •
Day 1-2 Room temp in airtight container or bag
Day 3+ Keep whole or slice and freeze in a sealed bag.
Thaw at room temperature or pop slices straight into the toaster when you're ready.
• Never refrigerate •
It dries the bread out faster than you can say "toast"!
