For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of building relationships as a hairstylist — connecting with people, earning their trust, and caring for them through my craft. One of those meaningful connections unexpectedly sparked a new passion when a sweet guest gifted me an established sourdough starter.
What began as curiosity quickly turned into fascination. I immersed myself in the science of sourdough — learning how to nurture a starter, understand fermentation, and create bread with depth, structure, and soul. My first sourdough boule was a success, and from there, I was hooked.
As I continued experimenting, I discovered the beauty of sourdough discard and the endless possibilities it holds. That’s when my niche was born: mini loaves with big personality.
The name Mini Crumb comes from what I love most about sourdough — the crumb. That soft, airy interior you reveal when you slice into a loaf and see all the fluffy, fermented goodness inside. I’ve spent countless hours testing recipes and inclusions, finding consistent success with mini loaves that are flavorful, light, and thoughtfully crafted.
Mini Crumb is the intersection of creativity, care, and science — made in small batches, with patience and intention. I’m so excited to share this chapter of my journey with you and to offer baked goods made with love, attention, and respect for the process.
