Sourdough is bread made the old way; with time, patience, and a living starter.
Just flour, water, salt, and wild fermentation. Nothing added. Nothing rushed.
What makes your bread different?
Every loaf is naturally leavened and slow-fermented overnight.
That long rest is what gives it its deep flavor, open crumb, and dark, crackling crust.
No shortcuts. Just process.
Why is every loaf a little different?
Because it’s alive.
Temperature, humidity, fermentation - they all shift slightly day to day.
We control the craft, not the variables.
What’s in it?
Flour. Water. Salt. Starter.
That’s it.
Do you use commercial yeast?
Never. Our bread rises on its own schedule using a wild sourdough starter we maintain daily.
When is your bread baked?
Most of our baking happens Saturday evenings, after the dough has had time to develop properly.
That’s when sourdough is at its best.
How fresh is the bread?
Everything is baked in small batches.
What you get is what came out of the oven Saturday evening ready for Sunday porch pick-up/delivery.
How should I store it?
Keep it at room temperature in a paper bag or wrapped in a cloth.
Avoid plastic (it softens the crust).
For longer storage, slice and freeze.
How long does it last?
3–5 days at room temperature, though it’s best in the first couple.
After that, it makes excellent toast.
What is focaccia?
Focaccia is a soft, olive oil–rich Italian bread with a crisp, golden surface and a light, airy interior.
Ours is slow-fermented like our sourdough - stretched by hand, dimpled, and finished with toppings like sea salt and rosemary, olives, and parmesan and black pepper.
Do you take custom orders?
