Capabilities & Pricing
•A 50% deposit is due to book, for orders placed 30 days or more out from the pick-up or delivery date.
•The full amount is due for orders placed less than 30 days out from the pick-up or delivery date.
•Payment must be received within 24 hours of the invoice being sent out or the invoice will be cancelled.
•Final payments are due 2 weeks before the pick-up or delivery date. If payment has not been made, the order will be cancelled without a refund.
Policies
Order Request dates
•I do not offer Sunday pick-ups. I only offer Sunday deliveries. •If you’re wanting a date that is unavailable, please send a request for the closest date and add a short explanation in the notes for the date that you’re wanting and will get back to you and let you know if I’m able to take it. •Make sure the request date is for the date you want to pick-up or need delivery for.
Pick-up
•Treat your pick-up time like you would treat any other appointment. If you show up at your appointment 15+ minutes later, your appointment will be bumped and you will be charged. •I charge a $25 fee that must be paid upon the release of your cake, if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of the pickup time YOU chose. •Things happen! So please communicate.
Cake Care
•Cakes MUST be refrigerated until 1.5-2.5 hours before serving (depending on the season and if you’ve ordered a fondant covered cake or buttercream). Your cake can stay out longer but be aware that the frosting (or fillings) between cake layers, will begin to bulge as the cake warms up. •I recommend taking your cake out of the fridge about 15-30 minutes before the party/event start time. •Keep cakes in a cool, stable environment.
Transportation
•Desserts are best transported on the floor of the vehicle with the AC on. •I do not recommend having someone hold the cake during transportation. •Once a cake leaves my hands, it is no longer my responsibility. I highly recommend delivery if you are concerned about transporting yourself. •If you’ve ordered a larger cake, please come with the appropriate sized vehicle to be able to store the cake on the floor. •DRIVE CAREFULLY.
