Delivery is available for an additional fee based on distance. As a small business owner balancing a full-time schedule and family, delivery must be arranged and confirmed at the time of placing your order. A minimum order of $75 is required for delivery. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time. Mad Batter Bakeshop is not responsible for orders left unattended or delayed due to customer unavailability. Delivery times are scheduled in advance and must be respected. Delays caused by the customer may result in additional fees or cancellation of delivery without refund.

📦 Pickup Policy Pickup is strongly recommended. The pickup address will be provided the morning of your scheduled order. Your pickup time will be confirmed when your order is placed — please arrive on time. Once your order is picked up, you are fully responsible for the care and condition of your items. ⸻ ⚠️ Important Transportation Rules Cakes are fragile and can be easily damaged if not handled properly. Please follow these guidelines: * Place cakes on the FLOOR of the front passenger seat (never on a seat or lap) * Keep your vehicle cool — heat can melt icing and damage decorations * Drive carefully — avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, and fast driving * Do NOT hold cakes while driving * For large or tiered cakes, bringing a second person is strongly recommended ⸻ 🚫 Liability Mad Batter Bakeshop is not responsible for any damage once your order has been picked up. ⚠️ Damaged Orders Policy While every order is handled with care, damages can occasionally occur. If your order is damaged at any point, please contact us as soon as possible with photos. ⸻ 🔧 Assessment & Fixes We will review the situation and determine if the item can be repaired. * If damage occurs after pickup or during transport, it is considered the customer’s responsibility * Repairs for customer-related damage may be available for an additional fee (based on severity and availability) ⸻ 🧁 Bakery Responsibility If damage is determined to be the fault of Mad Batter Bakeshop (examples may include structural issues, items not properly secured, etc.), we will make every reasonable effort to correct the issue. 💰 Deposit Policy A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all orders. This deposit is used to purchase materials and reserve your date. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. In the event of an emergency, please contact us directly. Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion based on availability. The remaining balance must be paid in full before pickup or delivery. 📅 Cancellation Policy All orders are final once booked. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup or delivery date are not eligible for rescheduling or credit. Cancellations made before 48 hours may be eligible for a one-time reschedule, based on availability and at our discretion. No-shows or failure to pick up orders at the scheduled time will result in forfeiture of the order and all payments made.

Orders placed with less than 5 days notice may be accepted based on availability and will require a rush order fee. Rush fees typically range from $15–$50+, depending on the size and complexity of the order.

All orders submitted are considered a request and are subject to approval. Payment is not required until your order has been reviewed and confirmed. Once approved, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. Orders are not confirmed until a deposit has been received.
