Frequently Asked Questions
An order minimum of $140 is required to place a custom cake order. A non-refundable retainer totaling 50% of the order’s total price is required to secure your date. Any order placed less than 2 weeks in advance is subject to an additional $30 late order fee if we are able to accommodate you.
REMAINING BALANCE- due one day prior to order pick up! IF, and only if, you are paying your remaining balance in cash you are able to pay at the time of pickup.
ALL ORDERS UNDER ORDER MIN. MUST BE PAID IN FULL.
If you are not 100% satisfied with the look of your cake, you are NOT obligated to take the cake. If you choose not to take the cake, you will be issued a partial refund of the final payment amount via original purchase method. NO DEPOSITS WILL BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, ONLY REMAINING/FINAL BALANCE WILL BE REFUNDED. If you are not satisfied and would like adjustments to be made to the cakes decor it can be fixed, where possible, at no additional charge.
Pick Up Disclaimer: Once the cake has left the Love Sweets premises we are no longer responsible for any damages occurring to the cake during transport or anytime thereafter.
Refund Policy:
Please be aware when placing any custom cake order that there are absolutely no refunds! ALL deposits are nonrefundable, however, they may be transferred for future use if our schedule permits. ONCE THE CAKE HAS LEFT THE PREMISES NO REFUND OF ANY SORT WILL BE MADE.
Please prepare your car for cake transport prior to picking up your cake.
The cake should be carried from the bottom, never the side. Place cake on a flat surface, never on the seat to avoid sliding.
Cake should be transported in a cool/air conditioned car at all times. Do not leave cake in a hot car, or in direct heat/sunlight, it will melt!
Do not let the cake sit out for hours. Refrigerate cake and display at the start of the event.
