Lotis is a bakery built on care, intention, and the belief that some of the most meaningful things in life are made slowly.

We believe good food doesn’t need to be loud to be meaningful. It can be slow. Thoughtful. Made by hand with respect for the process and the people it’s meant to serve. Everything here is created not for attention, but for connection—offered warm, honest, and shared.

This bakery is an offering. A small act of love. A space shaped by courage and stillness, where food is not just made, but given.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned that growth isn’t always about reaching for something new. Sometimes, it’s a quiet returning to yourself.

A year ago, I took a leap of faith and opened Lotis without all the answers. There was no perfect plan—only curiosity, courage, and a gentle pull toward something that felt true.

The journey hasn’t been easy. There were early mornings, sleepless nights, and lessons disguised as failure. But somewhere between shaping dough and watching croissants rise in the oven, I found stillness. And in that stillness, I found peace.

Creating has a way of softening the noise. When I work with my hands, the world grows quiet. And when someone tastes what I’ve made and feels comfort, warmth, or familiarity, that moment of connection is everything.

I’ve lived across continents, shaped by different cultures and places—from the Philippines, to the UAE, to the United States. Living between worlds taught me how to adapt, but also carries its own ache—of belonging everywhere, and nowhere all at once.

Creating became my bridge.

Through this work, every version of myself has a place to meet. What once felt scattered finds coherence in the making.
