Do you have a storefront bakery?
No, I am a home-based hobby baker, and am registered with the state of Minnesota to make food products from my home. I have an LLC (Little Bee, LLC) and a Cottage Law license to produce and sell my products.
What kind of products do you make?
My specialty is custom decorated cookies. I also make cakes and cupcakes of varying sizes and flavors.
What kind of cookies do you make?
I make sugar cookies (my secret Vanilla Brown Sugar recipe) with royal icing.
Other cookie flavors are available for an extra $4 per dozen. Some examples include lemon, strawberry, chocolate, Funfetti, or specific flavor requests.
Do you make gluten free options?
Unfortunately, gluten-free is not something I can accommodate at this time.
How do you come up with designs?
I generally request the customer sends me some inspiration ideas to base my designs off of, since full design planning is not built into my pricing. This can include examples from online, the event invitation or decor, or Pinterest designs. This helps to make sure we are on the same page about what you have in mind!
• Please note: I can base some designs off of other bakers' work, but cannot copy their work exactly.
• Upon customer request, I can send my design mock-ups in advance to confirm or change any details. Payment must be received in full before mock-ups are created.
Do you deliver?
I do not deliver. Orders can be picked up from a public location in/near Shakopee MN, unless other arrangements are made.
How long will the cookies stay fresh?
The cookies will stay fresh for up to a week at room temperature, if sealed completely (I recommend putting the individually-bagged cookies into a Ziploc or air-tight container). You can also freeze the sealed cookies. When thawing the frozen cookies, keep them sealed until they reach room temperature.
