It was such a pleasure working alongside Layer and Light to get my bridal shower cake. I had clear communication from the start and I felt listened to and supported for my vision to be created with specific dietary requirements taken into account (vegan) as well as possible. The updates were timely and the entire process was simple and easy from ordering to delivery. The cake was exactly how I envisioned it on the day and was definitely one of the best carrot cakes I have tasted with the cake completely being demolished by the end of the event.

I bought one of these at work and they are so good. I had the baked choc chip cookie, soft & chewy - a perfect treat!

So today I tried this amazing cake! It was so light, fluffy and perfect for the gorgeous spring weather. The frosting has a special fizz to it, which hints to the lemonade in its name. Keep up the amazing work!

The nicest lemonade strawberry cake ever! The cake was very moist but not too moist!! Perfect combination of strawberry and lemon. I am a bit skeptical trying vegan cakes due to the substitution of certain ingredients but this was perfect! Gone in 60 seconds. Your hands are golden can’t wait to try the red velvet cake!

I also tried the apple crumble cake. So good. Unique and original presentation. All I needed was a side of custard to pair with this fantastic take on a very British dessert.

I was blessed with a beautiful mother's day cake and was not only wowed by the presentation but the proof was truly "in the pudding" as to how good this cake tasted. It was not only moist and flavourful but tasted so fresh. It definitely deserves 100 out of 10 in my honest cake connoisseur opinion. You won't be disappointed 😊

Tried the Oreo Brownie with a little bit of biscoff in the edge and thoroughly enjoyed it and sad it was over after finishing it. Definitely recommend the brownie!

Ordered the Red Velvet cake for my housemates and it was absolutely gorgeous, so many compliments. Will be getting more cakes very regularly!

What can I say! This cake did not disappoint! I asked if Shamanie was up to the task of baking me a vegan/GF red velvet birthday cake and although this was an extremely difficult task she did an amazing job. From the creamy frosting to the texture of cake itself, you can tell that the cake was made with love and care and most importantly she was spirits led. I can’t thank you enough S x I definitely will be back!

These are no ordinary cakes! They were very unique and special. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our chocolate, lemon and nutmeg cupcakes. My friends especially loved the presentation. I had the chocolate cupcake. I usually scrape off the icing on most cakes as it's usually too sweet. However this cake had the right amount of sugar in it. I could eat the whole thing! So unique. I love the Bible verse on the bag. It ministered to me and made me smile. Thank you for your hard work Sharmanie! I loved all the extra special touches you added. I appreciate it. Perfect gifts for my friends. You clearly made these cakes with so much love xx
