To ensure the best experience and clear communication, please review the terms and conditions below before placing your order. By booking an order, you agree to the following: 1. Booking & Payment • A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your order and date. No order is confirmed without this deposit. • The remaining balance is due two (2) days prior to your scheduled pickup. If payment is not received by this time, your order may be canceled without refund. • All payments can be made via [insert payment methods accepted – e.g., Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, credit card]. 2. Late Orders & Refunds • All deposits are nonrefundable under any circumstance. • Orders placed with less than 7 days’ notice before the scheduled pickup date are considered rush orders and will incur a 25% Miracle Fee. This fee covers expedited planning, supply sourcing, and schedule adjustments. 3. Changes to Orders • Any changes to your order (quantity, design, pickup date, etc.) must be requested no later than one week before pickup. • Design changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of time and supplies. 4. Pickup Policy • Orders are for local pickup only at a mutually agreed time and location (usually Northwest Bakersfield porch pickup). • It is the client’s responsibility to pick up the order at the scheduled time. Missed pickups may result in cookies being forfeited without refund. • Once the order has been picked up, Kirby’s Cozy Kitchen is not responsible for any damage during transportation, storage, or handling. 5. Design & Creative Control • While inspiration photos are always welcome, all cookies are hand-decorated and may vary slightly in color, shape, and detail. • Kirby’s Cozy Kitchen retains the right to artistic interpretation based on the theme, available supplies, and techniques. 6. Allergens & Kitchen Info • Cookies are made in a home kitchen that may contain or come in contact with common allergens such as eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, and nuts. • While we follow proper sanitation practices, our kitchen is not certified allergen-free. 7. Marketing & Photos • Kirby’s Cozy Kitchen reserves the right to photograph your order and share images for marketing and promotional purposes (no personal customer information will ever be shared). 8. Agreement By placing a custom order with Kirby’s Cozy Kitchen, you agree to all of the above terms. In this beginner class, you will learn several different techniques: 
 * Baking methods and techniques (How to get that perfect shaped cookie) * How to make, color and get the right royal icing consistency for both piping and flooding * Piping techniques * Flooding techniques * Wet on wet techniques * Drying and storing cookies 
 You’ll also be given a go-to recipe for roll-out cookies, an easy royal icing recipe, and a box to transport your finished cookies.
