Hi, I’m Kendra Harris, owner and baker of Kendra’s Kakes and Bakes. My love for cooking began at age 12, growing up as the oldest of four girls. With my mother busy running her barbecue restaurant, I took on the responsibility of preparing family meals, and the kitchen quickly became my second home.

In 2012, while my husband was deployed to Afghanistan, I discovered my passion for baking. I started by sending him homemade cakes, which became a hit with his coworkers. Their enthusiasm inspired me to turn my hobby into a growing business.

At Kendra’s Kakes and Bakes, I bring cherished family recipes to life, from Grandma Lois’s famous banana pudding to Grandma Elaine’s legendary lemon jello cake and earthquake cake and my mom's sweet potato pie and peach cobbler recipe. My bonus dad’s pecan praline candy is another treasured recipe that remains a customer favorite.

I’m dedicated to using only the finest ingredients—real butter, Philadelphia cream cheese, and Imperial Sugar. No shortcuts, just homemade, flavorful goodness in every bite. Whether it’s sweet potato pies, pecan pies, or one of my signature cakes, I promise you’ll experience “The Best Treat You Will Ever EAT!”
