About
Hi! My name is Katie, the owner behind Katie’s Bread and Batter. We’re a small Texas-based microbakery, specializing in homemade cookies, granola blends, decadent bagels, fluffy bread loaves, and even all-natural dog treats for your furry little companions.
Baking has always been one of my favorite forms of creativity and comfort. I started this bakery as a college student with a passion for creating food that feels cozy and nostalgic. When I’m not in the kitchen or in class, I love watching sports (or attending games when I can!), binging rom-coms, and spoiling my rescue chihuahua mix, Squiggy — who also happens to be one of my official dog treat taste testers 🐾.
Every item is made fresh from scratch, with simple, quality ingredients. Please place your order online, and pick up on your scheduled pick up date (1-2 business days from order depending on the product). Sourdough bread loaves are baked fresh biweekly on Sunday and are limited in quantity, so be sure to preorder ahead of time, while quantities last.
Local pickup in Pantego, TX (full address will be provided at checkout). Whether you’re craving some fresh warm chocolate chip cookies, or sourdough sandwich bread with the perfect crunch for sandwiches or toast. There is something here for every kind of snacking mood.
