✨ *Sourdough for Beginners – In Person Class!* ✨
I’m SO excited to finally share that I’m hosting my very first **in-person sourdough class**! 🥖🎉
If you’ve been wanting to dip your hands into the world of sourdough but didn’t know where to start — this is for YOU! We’ll spend a cozy, fun-filled **3 hours together on Sunday, April 27th from 12–3 PM at the Legion**, and I’ll walk you through *everything* you need to know to start your sourdough journey with confidence!
👩🍳 Here’s what we’ll be doing:
🌾 Learning about *starter care and maintenance*
🥣 Mixing and stretching dough (you’ll see a full demo!)
⏳ Understanding bulk fermentation + proofing signs
✋ Hands-on *shaping practice* with already-proofed dough
🔪 Talking all things *scoring*
🧠 Plus, a Q&A with me so you can ask *all* the questions
🍞 At the end of class, you’ll go home with a fully shaped loaf to cold ferment overnight and bake the next day in your own kitchen! *(You’ll need a Dutch oven – but if you don’t have one, I’ve got you covered and can bake it for you for next-day pickup!)*
💛 Included in the $100 class fee is SIX amazing take-home goodies:
✨ A jar of live, bubbly sourdough starter
✨ Your shaped sourdough loaf, ready to bake
✨ A 10” banneton with cloth liner
✨ A 3D-printed razor holder + razor for scoring
✨ A plastic dough scraper
✨ A beginner-friendly recipe and a sourdough starter care guide
🌿 Snacks and water will be provided, and if you’d like to enjoy a drink while we bake and learn, the Legion will have alcohol available for purchase during their business hours. 🍷
