Baking captured my interest at a young age, largely thanks to my grandmother, who worked as a nurse and decorated cakes on the side. Watching her create beautiful confections inspired me, and I became fascinated by the chemistry that unfolded inside the oven when various ingredients came together.
My first professional baking experience was at Vintage Fare, where most items were made from mixes rather than from scratch. The bread, for instance, came in frozen logs of dough, but that alone was enough to ignite my passion. After spending a few years working with bagels and breads in Silverbow, Juneau, I ventured south to gain further experience in crafting baked goods. My journey mostly revolved around bread-making and was light on pastries. The intricacies of gluten, hydration rates, various sourdough techniques, biga, and baker’s percentages became my love language, affirming my desire to work in a bakery.

Payment can be made by Cash App ($BagelsJNUAK), or directly to me, the baker. Please note that there are no returns or substitutions available.
After payment, for which subscription service you choose, Sunday-Tuesday is when a sign up is for the following week. Submit payment, request your bagel day on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday for the following week. If there is room for the current week, you will get it that week
