Why Are Custom Sugar Cookies So Expensive?
This is a common question for many bakers. The higher cost of custom sugar cookies compared to store-bought or regular drop cookies comes down to the time and effort that goes into each one. A dozen cookies can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days to complete, depending on the intricacy of the design. Custom sugar cookies unfortunately aren’t something that can be made in just a few hours. Additionally, royal icing requires overnight drying to ensure that the cookies are packaged at their best quality. If you’re considering custom sugar cookies for your event, please don’t feel pressured. They are a luxury item, not a necessity, and it’s completely okay if they don’t fit within your budget!
