Hi, my name is Valerie Julissa and in 2022 I opened Julissa does it for business out of Big Wells Texas. I’m a self taught baker and creator. I found my passion in the creative process of cake decorating. I love creating personalized treats for my customers to enjoy. I work with fondant, American Buttercream and whipped frosting . I like to think I have an eye for detail and personalization. I’m still learning but I feel confident and comfortable offering custom cake’s and treats for Quinces, Weddings, Birthdays and more ..
Policies
Policy agreement
Retainer/ Deposit Fees:
- Orders under $50 must be paid in full at reservation and payment is considered a retainer fee.
- Orders under $250 require a $100 retainer fee and balance may be paid at pick up or 24 hours before delivery.
- Orders over $250 require a $150 retainer free and balance is due 7 days prior to pick up or delivery date.
- Quince and Wedding events require a $200 retainer fee and balance is 14 days prior to event.
*Retainer fees are nonrefundable
Cancelations:
-Any cancellations need to be made 14 days prior then your reservation.
-Retainer fees are nonrefundable but may be transferred given the 14 days notice.
-Failure to cancel your order will results in forfeiting retainer fee and any future orders will need to be paid in full upfront at reservation.
-Please contact me if circumstances beyond your control affect your reservation date.
Example: death or illness
Changes to order :
-Small changes can be made to orders 7 days prior to the reservation date.
Example: cake flavors, colors, fillings and serving changes within the same tier group .
These changes are NOT subjected to additional fees.
-Style or added serving tier changes NOT in the same group, require a 14 days notice.
These changes are subjected to additional rush fees
*All changes are subjected to additional pricing.
Cake care :
-Refrigeration is highly suggested.
If you’re unable to refrigerate the cake prior to the event, pick up time or delivery should be right before the event to insure cake stays chilled (it takes roughly 5-10 mins to ruin a cake in direct heat).
-Delivery is recommended and available for all custom cakes and tiered cakes at an additional cost.
- Pick up orders should be placed on a cleared flat leveled surface in a cooled environment. Typically the center floor board of the vehicle is best if available.
