The name JaiDough was born back in 2019, when 7-year-old Jaidah would excitedly say, “Jaidah makes cookie dough… it’s Jai’s Dough!” Every time they baked together, she’d call it “JaiDough,” and the name just stuck — catchy, heartfelt, and full of joy. Today, what started as a kitchen hobby has grown into a pink-themed, woman-owned home bakery brand that celebrates family, creativity, and the simple happiness found in a freshly baked cookie. Why JaiDough JaiDough was born from passion, creativity, and a love for breaking the mold. For over 10 years, Jamela worked in the retail baking world as a bakery manager and cake decorator. While she loved the craft, the environment often limited her creativity — everything had to stay by the book. Classic flavors only, no fun twists. But her customers noticed something different about her work — the extra flair, the unique flavor combos, and the “fancy” touch she brought to every dessert. When she was told to tone it down, her customers noticed immediately. Word spread, and so did the requests for her creative treats to make a comeback. That’s when Jamela decided to bring her imagination home — and JaiDough was born. What started as experimental baking in her kitchen quickly turned into a movement of bold flavors, pink vibes, and made-from-scratch love shared with her daughter, Jaidah who encouraged trying new flavors because “they look so cool”.
