I Know Desserts policy & updates

Here are some friendly updates to keep in mind 😊❤️

- Due to inflation, there will be a slight price increase on desserts. While I am a small business and baker from home, I will not negotiate my prices. Just like you wouldn't expect a corporate business to negotiate, it would be unfair to expect a small business to do so. However, I will do my best to work within your budget. 😊♥️

- Per policy, any order below $100 will need to be paid in full. Any order above $100 will need a 50% non-refundable deposit up front to hold your spot. Payment is due within 24 hours or your order will be cancelled. The remaining balance is due at pick up/ delivery.

- There is a small delivery fee depending on your location.

- Last minute orders will require a rush fee depending on the dessert item needed. For example: "Hi, I totally forgot but I am needing a birthday cake tomorrow, is there any chance you can do it"?

- Please be on time when picking up your order as I do schedule accordingly and have other customers waiting for their orders as well.

- Due to limitations of being a home bakery with only one employee, time constrictions do apply for pickups. When you schedule a time for pick up, you must pick up your item at that time with a 15 minute grace period or be assessed a $25 extension fee. I sell specialty cakes and other desserts that require specific modifications that must be done within the time frame of pickups to maintain freshness. I also have to meet demands of other customers. If you need an extension, you can request a time for later that day, however fees will apply. This does include meeting up somewhere for a pick-up.

Additionally, a delivery fee will be applied for any "meet up" spots that are outside of my 5 mile radius.

- I Know Desserts is not responsible for any damages to desserts once picked up or delivered. To maintain freshness, each dessert must be cared for appropriately. Especially in hot summer months, desserts must be refrigerated and not left out in the heat for prolonged periods of time. For example, some desserts such as chocolate covered strawberries must be consumed within 24 hours and will go bad if left out in the heat. I will provide the best storage tips, but please reach out and ask if you are unsure of how to properly store your dessert. 😊

- I offer a variety of cakes. Please understand that pricing varies depending on the complexity of the cake and sizing. Some cakes are a set price such as the Strawberry Shortcake or the Black Forest Cake, other cakes I am able to quote once discussed in detail.

- The customer is responsible for providing inspiration images for a certain cake look or style. I will be more than happy to provide input, but as the sole baker, time does not permit me to research and find images.

- I do not give out or sell my recipes 😊♥️
