When inquiring about available dates, please keep in mind that my calendar fills quickly. Inquiring about a date and filling out the custom order request does not reserve a spot on my calendar. Dates are only reserved when payment is received.
All inquiries will be answered in the order they are received within 48-72 hours. We do not answer messages on the weekend due to the volume of work that goes out those days. We do try to stick to that timeframe but sometimes, life happens. We are a small business, we are real people with little ones, and personal events of our own. Your patience is so appreciated!
How will my cake look like?
Each cake(s) is custom designed by Hiraya House Cakery. Therefore, cakes will never look exactly like a photo provided for inspiration but I will always try to stay within the theme and colors. Bakers/Cake Artists use different tools, food colors, different decorating style, and skill levels. Therefore, our final products will always be different from the original design you sent. Additionally, to protect my family and my business I do not make any designs that will infringe any copyrights. E.g. Disney, Marvel, Harry Potter, etc. Thank you for understanding.
Can you make something allergen free?
All of our products are prepared, baked, and packaged in my home kitchen that is not allergy-friendly. Although we use best practices to avoid cross contamination, there is no guarantee that the products produced will be free from potential allergens. There is always a risk of cross-contamination to occur and I cannot guarantee that ingredients or tools used have not come in contact with them.
Those with allergies and intolerances are advised to eat at their own risk or seek out a bakery that has allergy/intolerance friendly products.

All sweet treats may contain or come in contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, corn, soybeans, tree nuts, nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish and bananas.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we can deliver for larger, more complex cakes and weddings within Solano County only. Wedding cakes will be delivered unless otherwise requested. Delivery for other events is available on case-to-case basis, based on availability.
For smaller orders, we offer pickups from our home. We will carry cakes/items to your vehicle and secure it for transport.
Deliveries are subject to availability. Delivery fees will depend on event location.
What happens after I receive my quote?
A 50% deposit is due 24 hours after your invoice is received to secure all custom orders. Your custom order is not secure until a deposit is received. Full payment is due 14 days prior to your pickup or delivery date. For orders less than $100 a full payment will be required.
If you cancel your order for any reason, deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel within 7 days of your event, you forfeit your order. However, we’ll be happy to transfer any payment made to a new order within 90 days from your original date.
How far in advance should I place my order?
There is a lot of love, time and effort involved into making custom cakes and sweet treats. This entails designing, baking, decorating, adding fine details and accents.
We require a minimum of two week notice for all custom orders. This allows time to secure materials and ingredients and begin crafting unique elements needed to complete your order in time.
All dates are subject to availability. We highly recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance especially in busy holiday season.

Depending on availability, we may be able to help with a last minute order with a one week window. This will incur an additional rush fee and limited design options.
Can I make last minute changes to my order?
Request for any changes in the design after it has been finalized will incur additional fees as specific tools or accessories may have been purchased already for your cake. We will not accept any changes later than 2 weeks prior to your order date.
