TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions serve as the contract between the customer and Hey Sugar Bakery. By paying this invoice, the customer is agreeing to the these terms and conditions.

INGREDIENTS
All cakes, fillings, icings, and treats may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergenss
It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform me prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy issues. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly the Supplier will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the product.
All products are made to be eaten on the day of the event.
QUOTES
All Quotes are valid for fourteen (14) days from the date of issue.
ORDERS
Any Products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other treat maker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo.
FRESH FLOWERS
If you wish to have fresh flowers arranged on your cake, it is your responsibility to supply the flowers (whether they are self-sourced or ordered through your event florist). In choosing to have fresh flowers arranged on your cake, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not food products, and may be toxic or contain pesticide/herbicide residues, dirt, insects, and/or other contaminants. If we have been informed prior to the event date that fresh flowers will be supplied for your cake, we will gladly arrange these flowers on your cake for you. However, all responsibility for the freshness, color, overall condition, and cleanliness of the flowers rests with you (and/or the event florist).
CHANGES
The final date of any changes for the size, flavor, style, etc. of the product are due fourteen (14) days prior to the event. Any changes after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
CAKE REPAIRS
If you bring a cake back to us, we may be able to repair it if time allows; but you may incur a repair charge, which will be disclosed prior to repair. Depending on the extent of the damage, the original cake may not be suitable for repairs and may need to be replaced. In such instances, additional charges may apply. After hours repairs are at the SOLE discretion of the owner. Please contact us and send pictures of the damage, so we can ascertain whether or not we will be able to repair it for you.
DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold your event date. When we take your event order, we begin the process of declining other orders. As we get closer and closer to your event date, the chances of re-booking your date are greatly reduced. Under certain circumstances If your event is canceled thirty (30) days in advance the deposit can be applied towards a future order. All deposit transfers are at owners discretion. The new date proposed will be subject to availability.
The balances must be received within the following time frames. Reservation deposits should be received within seven (7) days of invoice receipt. Final payments are due on the date specified in the invoice.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Where we cancel the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects the ability to deliver the ordered Product, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification to the Customer.
FINAL BALANCES & PICK UP
If paying by internet transfer, the money needs to hit the account BEFORE the product leaves the premises. If the invoice is not paid in full before the due date, you forfeit your order, and absolutely no refund, future credit, or date change will be permitted under any circumstances.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible to ensure that product gets to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality. The Customer is liable for any damage, accident, or mishap that may occur once the product is released to their care. The Supplier is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter.
If a third party will be collecting the product on the customer’s behalf, the customer consents to the third party acknowledging that the product is received in good condition at the time of pickup/delivery.
DELIVERY
We offer delivery for certain destinations. Delivery is charged at our discretion
Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the product as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the product after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.
A delivery date and time will be agreed upon by both parties, and if the customer is not at the location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back to our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.
PHOTO RELEASE
We reserve the right to take and use our own photos of your products to use for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation to you. We may also request photographs from your photographer for the same purpose. All pictures that we are tagged in or posted to our social media accounts are subject to the same terms.
