My name is Yvonne and I have spent a great deal of my life in the kitchen. I come from a family of cooking women!!

As a kid my maternal Grandmother was the general manager of the Southside of Chicago’s Public School cafeterias. This was during the time when they had real cooks and used real recipes. And my love of baking was born.

If you attended any Chicago Public School anytime before the ‘80s, then you definitely remember those Lunchroom Butter Cookies and the Peanut Butter cookies with the fork print! I use the authentic recipe for those. Make sure you try them out!
